"Had a good night stay, however, the hotel is very dated and could do with a refurb. There is a car park behind the hotel but directions could be better. I had read previous reviews do we were looking out for it! Staff were nice and breakfast was good!
It’s a 20 min walk from the hotel to the town centre or maybe about 5 min taxi - we walked and it didn’t seem that long! "
"Lovely decor and very clean. Instructions to access the property were very straight forward, and room had everything you would need and more. Thankyou very much! "
"The accommodation was very well appointed and comfortable. Our room was in a courtyard annex, was very peaceful and had the use of a fully equipped kitchen as well as tea and coffee facilities in our room."
"Very well appointed and modern rooms forming extension to Uptop House behind York Cottage. Great for stop off on longer journey but not clearly visible from main road. Breakfast by arrangement. Owners very helpful."

"Unfortunately when we arrived at the property, the cleaners were still cleaning. We were meant to check in from 4:30pm, we arrived at 5:28 and the cleaners were only half way done. We had to wait about 3hours for them to finish. The cleaning was mediocre for a deep cleaning. But the stay was good for us as we made use of the local area and the house was nice it just wasn’t spotless for a deep clean. We were able to check out at 12 instead of 10am only because we sent evidence of the fact that we couldn’t be in the house because of the cleaners. It seemed like the property hadn’t been booked in a while. For a house that takes 10 people, it is not a good house. The walls are thin and you can hear every movement. As a big group we had to keep reminding ourselves to whisper and that was no fun. Also, if you’re planning on using their things such as kitchen things or cleaning things, just bring your own. There was mold on the chopping board, barely enough cutlery for a group and we had to buy a lot of supplies to cater to ourselves. There was not even a whisk or a bowl to make breakfast, we had to improvise! "
"Property rented for 5 of our staff whilst working in the area …VRBO app had continuous problems and my husband called the owner to get check in details , the property is in a nice new estate with shops near by and everyone was generally happy with their stay , my son was staying along side the men and he’s comments were the light in the en suite wasn’t working , the cooker had most of the buttons missing , stain on sheets , a few stains on the carpets it’s a newer house but it seems it needs a little bit more attention especially with cleaning "
