"Beautiful cabin on the lake. Loved the beds they were so comfortable and the sheets were amazing. I actually wrote down the company and will be buying my own set. My husband was thrilled that the refrigerator had worms in it for fishing! We got in late and did not make it to a bait store. Will be coming back"

"This is a perfect place for a couple. Comfortable bed and nice hot water were greatly appreciated. Communication with host Vern went smoothly. Unit is adequately stocked with cooking items. Location is quiet, just behind the fire station. Plenty of parking. Our travel was summertime, so parking could be different with snow on the ground. Close (walkable) to Portage Lake. It is a 10 minute drive to Michigan Tech's campus. If you are eating out, most restaurants will be found in Houghton. Super appreciative that this is a pet-friendly place."

"Cute cozy cottage. We stayed for 9 days, pet friendly & the fenced in yard was great. Very clean & the furniture was comfortable. Perfect location to explore the keweenaw peninsula. It had all of the amenities we could have asked for. The host was very nice. Would definitely recommend and plan to stay again in the future!"

"The cabin was very cute and comfortable. Our stay was met with the first two days being 100, and the third day the smoke from Canada wildfires blew in, so it meant spending most of our time indoors. The air conditioning kept us very comfortable. We did get to see geese, on the lawn and in the water, loons, and a mallard. Nice place!"
