We loved our stay BUT the marketing photos and name of the hotel are very deceptive. You DO NOT get the horses coming to your cabin, there is a fence (electric) at least 20ft or more away from the cabins and the horses don’t come near you, you can see them afar from your cabin only. I am between providing a 4 star or 5 star review, but will tip it up to 5. It’s probably like a 4.25. Overall was one of our favorite stays in Iceland. My husband, daughter (20), and I stayed at The Garage for 2 nights (April 30-May 2). This is one of my favorite places we have ever stayed! If you plan to stay overnight in south Iceland do not miss this gem. The location is close to all the sights and activities, but the Garage is so comfortable and charming you might not want to leave the property!
