"The North Cascades are an amazing destination. This house was a bonus at that destination! Rented almost 1 year ahead the plan was 6 ladies hiking. Instead, there were just 3 of us but how luxurious for each of us to have our own room! 2 bathrooms were also very nice. I did not realize there was no dishwasher until shortly before we went, but washing a few dishes was a very small price to pay for our pleasant stay. The house seems fairly new, very well built and maintained. Gravel drive and natural surroundings were appropriate. It is a quiet neighborhood in the woods! Beds were comfortable and we were glad for air conditioning. Very nice, functional and well stocked kitchen. The "cabin" was so nice to come home to after hiking. It was not very far to restaurants in Winthrop so we enjoyed that one night. Thanks for sharing this peaceful home. I am very low tech and don't do apps. It did take a little effort to connect with our hosts a few weeks before our stay date but it did work out. They took good care of us. I'd love to stay there again."

"The property itself is great. The room was spacious and the facility gets high marks. I was only able to stay one night as we were just passing through, but I would recommend Sun Mountain Lodge to others. Our visit was only clouded by the nearby fires made going outside a bit of a hazard due to the smoke."

"The hotel is easy to find, and walking distance to town. Where you can find a lot of place to eat and hang out. Also the small town in the area is pretty cool to visit and to check the stores. Over all the staff in the hotel are very helpful and friendly. The amenities are great. Definitely will recommend to family and friends."

"Great place, one of the best VRBO's we've stayed in. Great communication from Jim, he emailed on day 2 to see how everything was going. Love the deck, great view, fantastic in the evenings. North Cascades park is FANTASTIC. Also, don't miss the Mazama store, great pastries and coffee and we got a frozen dinner (made at the store) on two nights, cooked it and ate on the deck. Saved a lot of money and better than the restaurants in Winthrop."
