"Arrived super early for check in and checked to see if a room was ready. Even though I was ready to leave my luggage and start my day the staff found a room available for me. My favorite thing about the hotel is the water fountains on each floor. Thank you Strand Palace and see you next time."

"Super value for money! Bear in mind this is student accommodation so it's 'no frills' and is only available during the school holidays. We booked a twin room with an ensuite. It was spacious and spotlessly clean and the beds were comfy. Linen, towels, shampoo and shower gel are provided (this is unclear in the information). The breakfast was beautiful with a choice of everything for a full English and continental. Check-in is at 3pm but you are able to leave your bags in the luggage room. There is a lovely street lined with cafes just around the corner. The location was ideal. We were going to a gig at The Garage in Islington and a festival at Victoria Park near Hackney. The Garage was a half hour walk away and after the festival we were able to get a bus to Clerkenwell quite easily. Would definitely stay here again!"
