About this property

Ski-In/Out Penthouse | Vaulted Ceiling

  • Ballhooter Skyline Penthouse by LUXSTAYUSA

A top-floor penthouse in Allegheny Springs, where a vaulted ceiling rises over a stone gas fireplace and nothing sits above you but the roof. The one bedroom holds a king and a full bed, with a pullout sofa in the living room, sleeping six. A tiled walk-in shower, a kitchen with bar seating and a private balcony. Ski-in/ski-out in Village Central, about 200 yards from the Ballhooter lift.

The top floor of Allegheny Springs, with no one overhead and a vaulted ceiling that makes a one-bedroom feel far larger than its footprint. It suits a couple who want the best room in the building, or a small family of up to six who will use every bed.

    - Balcony: private, looking over the Allegheny Springs pool and the Village.

December 2025 Ski Trip

I’vr stayed at probably 20 separate condos at snowshoe and this is my favorite. Looks out right over the Ballhooter Lift. Remodeled quite nicely. I really like the two beds in the bedroom for extra sleeping space. High quality cookware/ utensils. Definitely coming back!

Please clean the couch. Covered with dirt and hair. Had to cover it with a sheet. Dishwasher was filled to the brim when I arrived with dirty dishes. All light bulbs bright white… Felt like I was in a dentist’s office all week. Other than that, nice view.

Great stay and perfect slope view! The place was very clean and had everything we needed. It comfortably fit our group of 5—6 would have been very tight, but we could have made it work. The location was excellent with an awesome view overlooking the slopes, and it was really enjoyable watching the rope drop each morning as all the skiers took off. Every question we had was answered quickly, which was especially helpful since this was our first time at Snowshoe. Great first-time experience on the mountain and we can’t wait to go back!

The unit itself was nice and comfortable, but several issues impacted our stay. Check-in required waiting for someone to bring a physical key (but they were quick for us) ; the door keypad was dead and the main door code did not work, so we had to use a backup code. The unit was clean, though a few updates would help, and the shower area was very dark and not ideal for bathing small children. The resort (Allegheny Springs) appeared poorly maintained, with leftover cups and trash in the lobby and common areas that remained for multiple days. Staff were not very helpful with questions, the vending machines were out of order (on both sides) and there were no quick-service options on-site, making even bottled water difficult to obtain. Valet service was listed but was not an option our entire stay and parking across the street was inconvenient. Overall, the unit was fine, but the resort would benefit from better management and maintenance.
