Look no further for a quiet hotel in Solden

Very friendly staff and a good spot to be away from the choas and party life down in main Solden. This hotel exceeded all expectations with the staff being the best part. Ive noticed recently that hotels saying "ski in ski out" is becoming a loosely used term. Edelwiess is a true ski in, ski out place.

This was a ski trip, so I chose this hotel because it has in&out skiing. You literally walk out the back, and ski onto the run. A little trickier coming back at the end of the day. You have to take the lift (19 I think) above it, and then ski down a very steep run to get to the back of the hotel. That was asking a lot from my legs after hours of skiing. There might be an easier route, but i didn‘t ask. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel was. Room was great, the breakfast was excellent, and they also have a snack time after skiing, and of course dinner. There is a warm, indoor pool, and a small gym with a treadmill & free weights. I did a short workout one evening. You get your own locker for storing skis, boots, etc that is coded to your room keycard. Overall, I loved it! The staff was friendly & helpful. I will definitely return to Sölden to ski again, and will stay at Hotel Edelweiß. I won‘t even bother looking for a different hotel - it‘s just too convenient!

Bazén-detaily.

Ráda chodím plavat ráno a nebyl u bazénu k dispozici ručník. Nezastihla jsem za 2 denní pobyt masážní trysky v bazénu aktivní. 1.den jsme s kamarádkou vypotřebovali lotio na mazání a šampon a další jsme v sobotu a neděli nedostali.

This was our second vist to Hotel Edelweiss and as for the first time everything was perfect. Friendly, helffull and smilling staff, excelent food and wine. Perfect location and well kept. Can't be better. We will be back for sure again som time.

Gutes Hotel mit optimaler Lage zum Skifahren

Guter Empfang Im Barbereich könnte die Betreuung etwas freundlicher sei. Skiraum und Parkmöglichkeit optimal. Zimmer gut und sauber. Beim Frühstück und Abendessen gingen öfters Speisen aus und es dauerte bis diese wieder da waren, Personal engagiert und freundlich, aber nicht ausreichend. Hotel war maximal zu 50% belegt. Sehr schöner und sauberer SPA-Bereich. Preis- Leistungsverhältnis ist o.k.

Fantastisk aftensmad

Skønt hotel midt på løjpen, så man kan stå på ski direkte fra hotellet. Aftensmaden er fantastisk. 5 retters menu, som virkelig smager skønt. Prisen på drikkevarer dertil er dog temmelig høj i forhold til andre steder i området. Værelset (til 2 voksne og 2 børn på 12 og 14) var stort og med god skabsplads og en skøn udsigt. Sengen var hård, så det kommer jo an på ens præferencer hvordan man har det med det. Dynerne var gode og dejligt varme. Servicen fra alt personale var exceptionelt - alle var søde, venlige og professionelle. Et lille minus dog til rengøringen - vi fik ikke fyldt op af sæbe og shampoo, og fik ikke skiftet håndklæder (vi havde godt nok ikke fået lagt alle på gulvet, men efter 3-4 dage synes man måske de bør skifte alle håndklæder under alle omstændigheder). Om eftermiddagen fra 15.30-16.30 var der kage og en lille varm ret (chili con carne, pasta carbonara og lign.), som var skøn at komme hjem til efter en dag på ski. Poolen var dejlig med en flot udsigt. Hele hotellet emmer af hygge og professionalisme og vi kan kun anbefale det.

Super Hotel

Es war ein mega Kurztrip, 4 Tage mit dem Sohn zu Skifahren. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Skipist in Hochsölden. Skier an und los. Das Hotel ist top. Sauna, Pool mit Bilck auf die Piste. Ein Ort zum wohlfühlen. Die Servicekräfte sehr sehr freundlich, das Essen köstlich. Auch Sonderwünsche werden erfüllt. Ich war total begeistert.

Perfekt skihotell med spa

Perfekt skihotell med ski in-out og oppbevaring av utstyr. Skiutleie og skiskole i butikk ved siden av. Meget bra spa anlegg med badebasseng, damp sauna og finsk sauna.

Mysigt familjeägt hotell med helt outstanding placering uppe i liftsystemet. Slipper liftköer nerifrån byn på morgonen och vaknar till snölandskap på våren när det regnar längre ner i dalen. Mysig spa och varm pool. Bra frukost. Hyr fyrhjulsdriven bil om ni ska ta er upp i ett snöoväder. Sängarna lite hårda om man ska klaga på något. Rekommenderas ej till familjer med mindre barn eller de som söker nattlivet.

Für ruhesuchende ideal

Das Hotel liegt direkt bei den Skipisten. Wer Unterhaltung sucht, liegt falsch. Das Hotel selbst bietet keine Unterhaltung an. Um nach Abends nach Sölden zu kommen muss für die Hin- und Rückfahrt ein Taxi genommen werden. Kosten insg. EUR 52.--. Das Hotel bietet nur um 11.00 und 16.00 einen Shuttle an. Nicht kostenlos! Das SPA ist ein Pool mit kaltem Wasser, Sauna und wenige Ruhestühle.

Not really a 4 * hotel - more like a 3 *

The Hotel is dated. The fake plants and flowers are really cheap. The ammenities are really the bear minimum. This is not a 4 star hotel. The pool is nice and the spa/sauna area is very good and very popular. The room we were given was adequate but again not 4 star quality. Soap in sachets reminiscent of hostels not good quality hotels. Food is also 3 star. A bit hit and miss. Some evenings almost very good and sometimes pretty disappointing. Staff however really try hard, therefore best marks in that area.
