We loved our stay! The pool was a huge hit, and the house was perfect for our family gathering. The large table was great for meals and game nights, and there were plenty of chairs inside and out for everyone to relax. The pool speakers were fun. We loved connecting to Bluetooth and listening to music while swimming. The fire pit was another favorite, and the BBQ grill worked great. We even grilled during a rainy day thanks to the covered gazebo. The coffee maker was excellent, too!The house stayed cool the entire time, and we never ran out of hot water despite everyone showering. The beds and furniture were comfortable. Our host even shared some farm-fresh beef with us for one of our grilling nights, which was delicious and such a thoughtful gesture.A few notes for future guests: the flies and mosquitoes are bad (and annoying) in the summer, but that’s just Kansas! Bring bug spray or a bug fogger if you’ll be spending lots of time outdoors. There are outdoor cats that visit often. They were friendly and caused no issues for us. Also, pets have been in the house before. It didn’t bother us at all and seemed fitting for a hunting lodge, but it’s worth mentioning for those with sensitivities. We loved the hunting and farm decor. It felt very Kansas! The kids said the only thing that could make the house better would be a set of bunk beds.Overall, this is a wonderful place for families to gather, relax, and make memories together. Thanks for the fun stay!
