"The location was fantastic, close access to the vineyards and restaurants. The estate was magnificent, views from the room were awesome, very relaxing weekend."

"Booked last minute and wasn’t expecting much for the price on a Saturday night but previous reviews seemed ok. The first room they gave us was average. We thought for one night we’d be ok. But after coming back from dinner we noticed bugs/insects over the walls and worse still over the bed and pillows. I called the emergency number and without hesitation they moved us to another room which had been refurbished. It was comfortable but didn’t have the fireplace which we’d specifically chosen so it was quite cold, especially in the bathroom. This hotel is advertised as Boutique-style, high-quality accommodation - there’s nothing boutique or high quality about it! Even for what we paid a night it wasn’t worth it. My recommendation would be to pay a bit more and stay somewhere else."

"The Lodge was the perfect getaway for my partner and I. From the rustic wooden cottage, cool trinkets, beautiful gardens, open fireplace and proximity to town - you can't go past Richards amazing accommodation. I would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet break in a spectacular bush setting."

"Pros Peaceful location Easy quick check in Lovely pool and cold plunge Comfortable bed Bathtub Balcony Access to shuttle if needed Breakfast lovely Beautiful grounds Reception staff very responsive and friendly Room decor modern and spacious Relaxation room was nice Cons - thoughts to consider Heating in room impossible to regulate. Housekeeping turned it up when we were cold then it was extremely hot. Bit noisy from couple in next room. We could hear their conversation and they weren’t taking loudly I thought when we booked that this is supposed to be a spa experience. No robes or slippers in the rooms and not clear that you had access to them on arrival at spa - had to ask No sauna Steam room not working Hot tub - very weak jets No body wash or bath salts for bathtub Just lacked spa feeling beyond the stunning reception area, Carpet some stains"
