We had a great two night stay. Place was clean and comfortable and a short stroll to the oceanKing size beds are always great. Host was great and always responsive
Perfect for what we needed. Cabin had all the amenities, great location, and easy. Loved the spaces, the ocean just outside your door, shops nearby, BBQ and hot tub, and had one of the best sleeps ever in that king bed!
We stayed for 3 nights and wish we could stay longer. Quotes from my kid - “can we just live here” which a person easily can do with all the comforts and amenities of home, and “Mom, I think this place needs 5.1 stars”
Can’t wait to return.
This was an incredible beautiful property. The grounds, lots of patio furniture, and dock are well maintained. It was so comfortable and welcoming. It felt like home. The best stocked vrbo we've ever stayed in including coffee, tea, popcorn, spices, tin foil.....etc. Extra everything! And everything was in great running order. The instruction binder contained all the info and Tiffany was there at a moments notice. The beds are super comfortable. Quiet. Just the place we needed for some R&R. Loved our stay!!
Absolutely loved our stay in Sooke! Our little home away from home was cozy, comfortable and quiet. We made great use of the hot tub after exploring in the wet and cold outdoors! This would be a great place to stay in the summer just off the water with your own dock access. Our 5 year old had her week made finding a stuffed animal octopus in the cottage - named it Olivia. Just for that, 5 stars!
Stayed here with a group of friends on a bike tripFrom Vancouver. Location was great - close to the Galloping Goose Trail / Sooke Potholes , and not too far of a walk to the town center. The 2 King Beds were super comfy, and the cottage had everything we needed for the weekend. Host was very friendly w great communication. Would stay here again.
Hostess was so easy to deal with and very accommodating. House was very clean and had everything you needed. You couldn't see the water from this house but the walk to the dock was very easy and not far. Would definitely stay here again.
Loved having the hot tub to use! Very big comfy king sized beds, cozy place and beautiful grounds over looking the long dock and ocean. Nice and close to the galloping goose and potholes. The unit we stayed in was close to the road so there is a little bit of traffic noise but otherwise perfect. Would definitely come again!
We had a very nice stay at this oceanfront cottage. The location is excellent. Having a private dock and direct beach access made it feel like our own personal retreat. We spent our mornings kayaking (thanks to the free kayaks provided!) and our evenings relaxing in the hot tub under the stars. The cottage itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, from a full kitchen to a great BBQ setup for outdoor meals. We appreciated the quiet and privacy, yet it was still close enough to local shops and restaurants for convenience. The hosts were communicative, friendly, and made the check-in process seamless. You can tell they take pride in making guests feel welcome and comfortable.
We came out for a weekend fishing trip and this place was perfect. It was my son and I so we each had a king sized bed and the hot tub was a great addition. We had fishing licenses so we used the crab traps and had a great time. It’s centrally located and less than an hour from the airport. Close enough to catch a morning flight but far enough away to feel like a getaway. Having our own bbq we could eat at home rather than feel compelled to go out after a day on the water. We will hope to make this an annual outing.
We had a great four days at the Seascape Cottage, which was really well equipped with supplies often not included in holiday rentals, such as good quality knives and utensils, olive oil and spices, etc. The beds (king size) were very comfortable, and the owner was easy to communicate with, especially before we arrived. The only downside to the cottage is its location very close to the main road, which is quite noisy. One night we were kept awake for several hours by road construction in the middle of the night. We would happily stay again, but would choose one of the options further away from the road. On the up side, our teenage grandsons made good use of the kayaks and the hot tub, and we all enjoyed the access to the dock and patio.
Everything we could need or want was readily available. The place was clean, beds are comfortable and the hot tub was great. We would love to stay there again!
The Hot tub could have been a little hotter, but everything else was amazing great cottage spacious clean attractive everything available from coffee, salt and pepper, olive oil , Spices, crockery, pots and pans, glasses for inside and hot tub, BBQ, Air fryer. Great location great communial patio, kayaks straight off own pier. would highly recommend this VRBO excellent
