Our stay at the in was comfortable and nostalgic, kind of like a dream of staying in the library after closing hours. It was cozy and inviting, host(s) were great, and the breakfast was delightful.

Great Getaway

We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast after the first morning because of our schedule but appreciated the availability of fresh, good coffee each morning. Our room (Michael Collins) was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable. We appreciated the TV choices. It’s Notre Dame friendly and love the Irish theme through the house.

The Irish experience in South Bend

A wonderful place to stay for a visit to Noter Dame. Stephanie, the owner, was a superb host. From upgrading us to a larger room, providing a delicious breakfast, telling of the history of the house, giving restaurant recommendations that were spot on, to offering to make us a breakfast to go as we were leaving very early on our last day. Stephanie could not have done better. Thank you so much - a great bucket list trip for my son, grandson and me.

Stephanie the inn keeper was so amazing! This place is so cute and the food was delicious. She even made us to go food since we were going to leave super early on our last day. We will definitely be staying here again when we come to South Bend.

What a delightful B&B. This place reminded me of my stay in Kilkenny, and is truly a Celtic B&B. The rooms were filled with history and intrigue. The room was a good size, clean, and perfect for my stay. This travel was for my son's graduation from ND - this was the perfect venue for me. It was so close to the university but far enough away that it was quiet. The breakfast by Stephanie was amazing and truly gourmet. I loved this place and will go back for sure.

Cool Victorian home

The house is very historic and beautiful. The host was very helpful and nice. Breakfast was great and timed to our needs. As this is an old house, the bathrooms are shared and there are stairs to navigate. Nonetheless, it is a great place to stay with those limitations.

This is a charming old house, decorated appropriate to its age and its theme (Irish), but very comfortable and homey. Stephanie was quite friendly and helpful, and her husband even gave me a ride to the Notre Dame campus.

The rooms are quite small but the place is fairly well kept. However, there were only two bathrooms upstairs for about six rooms. The second bathroom was closed for the two days (one night) we stayed. Also, we were asked if we could have our breakfast 30 minutes after the agreed upon time. We graciously agreed, and the breakfast they served was cold (the scrambled eggs) and the avocado toast was inedible.
