Almond Beach Resort at Jaguar Reef

"We were very happy with the resort. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. When we asked for the coffee to be restocked and for real sugar they quickly brought it to us. I loved the pool without the bar, it usually did not have very many people in it and you could see the ocean from the middle of it. The restaurant was good and we loved the pizza. The beach had a lot of seaweed on it, like a LOT. You had to walk through it to get to the clear water. They only cleaned it up one day we were there, I wish they had of done it every day because it was nasty walking though it. And our room (mahogany room) was in direct line with the fire pit, so at night when they lit the fire if it was super breezy the smoke smell would really fill our room. So if you are allergic or if smoke gives you a headache (like me) be forewarned."

"This resort was one of the best ones we’ve ever been to! The staff was amazing. The rooms were beautiful. And all the amenities, excursions, and especially the town of Hopkins was top tier. Definitely plan a vacation here if you’re thinking of visiting Belize."
Beach Front, Private Home With Pool, Beach, Oceanfront

"We loved our stay at this beautiful home in Placencia! The house was very clean and well equipped. We loved all the outdoor space, being right on the beach, and a plunge in the pool to cool off. Christine and Marvin (Leo’s colleague) were very helpful. Marvin helped us with groceries, booked a boat to Moho Caye, and even helped us when our rental car would not start (from another company, not Leo’s car rentals). Cannot recommend this place enough. Highlights were snorkeling at Moho Caye, Maya King Falls (our kids loved this!), and dinner at Placencia Yacht Club (an absolute must!. Make a reservation through WhatsApp -Caroline is amazing!) We also enjoyed a few meals at Maya Beach Bistro just down the street. Dinner over the water at The Placencia resort was also amazing… but a bit pricey after we realized prices were in USD not BZD. We also really enjoyed Placencia Beach Club."
Pal's on the Beach - A Gold Standard Hotel

"Pal's is an incredible value if you're looking for an authentic Belizian beachfront experience in Dangriga. It's literally right on the beach, and you'll be waking up to that view every morning. The room was spotless, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. If you're someone who wants the full American-style resort experience with an on-site restaurant, bar, and lots of amenities, you may prefer Pelican Beach. But if you're an adventurer who values a sparkling clean room, a comfortable bed, an unbeatable beachfront location, amazing views, and exceptional hospitality, Pal's is the perfect choice. We'd happily stay here again."

"Our stay at Parrot Cove was nothing short of amazing. From breathtaking views to delicious breakfast, this place was top notch. The staff was more than helpful when we faced a significant delay at the airport that put us getting in much later than anticipated. Yoli went above and beyond to stay in contact with me and setting up someone to be there when we arrived after hours. The breakfast was so good: traditional Belizean breakfast with the freshest fruit I have ever had. Beds were extremely comfortable and the AC about froze us out of the room. Overall, 10/10 on the stay. I will be back to Hopkins and, specifically, Parrot Cove."

"Our family of 11 (ages 17–82) had an incredible week here! The house was spacious, comfortable, and the perfect home base for exploring Hopkins and everything Belize has to offer.What truly made this stay exceptional was the hospitality. The house mom took care of everything—from arranging transportation and excursions to preparing delicious home-cooked Belizean meals. The groundskeeper went above and beyond by keeping the property beautiful, bringing fresh drinking water, finding us the freshest fish (and cleaning it!), sharing fantastic local recommendations, and making us feel like family.If you’re looking for a place to stay in Hopkins, we can’t recommend this home enough. We made memories we’ll treasure forever and would absolutely stay here again!"
