"The staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms and property were very well taken care of. Walking distance to Water Street, where we spent most of our time. Wonderful hotel, charming town!"

"From the moment we pulled in, we knew we found the perfect place. Steps away from the water, we were pretty much on our own the entire 6 days, except for the red-bellied cooters, cormorants, and other wildlife. The lapping water on the shore made for great sleep. We met the owner on the first day, who shared information about the history and fauna, as well as providing instructions for kayak use.The house had everything we needed, an updated interior, and very clean. Plymouth waterfront is 15 mins away, a great small-town feel that didn't feel overwhelmed with people in high season since it's spread out and has so much to do. We will definitely be back.Pay close attention to owners' directions (not GPS) in getting there."

"Debra and Jim run a beautiful family friendly cottage right outside the Plymouth downtown area. Idyllic backyard space with quaint water views and woodsy paths. They were fantastic hosts and we would stay with them again, although perhaps in one of the larger spaces upstairs because the downstairs room did become rather cramped for a family of 4. "
"DO NOT BOOK! PLEASE READ.While the cabin initially appeared promising in the photos and seemed fine upon nighttime arrival, it quickly became apparent the next morning that the property was in unacceptable and deplorable conditions. I attempted to contact the host BUT I have received no response. The cabin was noticeably dirty and dusty throughout, with a thick layer of dust along baseboards and corners in nearly every room. Our whole family began sneezing just a short time after we arrived but thought nothing of it since it was late and we went to bed. The oven had duct tape covering the handle, including a large portion that extended inside the oven cavity, making it unsanitary and potentially dangerous to operate. The refrigerator also had duct tape on the handle and a large stain underneath. A dead fly was found inside, further contributing to the feeling of uncleanliness. A shower knob came off in my hand, and the sink knob was also loose, indicating extremely poor maintenance and an overall disrepair to the property. One of the main bedroom window’s glass was badly broken and appeared unstable—posing a hazard of falling inward at any moment. There was even signs of mice or rats in the cabin, with the evidence of poison baitTHE WORST PART was (even though it was listed as having one) we could not find a single smoke or carbon monoxide detector in the cabin—a direct violation of Massachusetts State Law for short-term rentals. This is a serious public safety concern. "
