The loft is located in a 17th-century building in the historic center, on a pedestrian street next to the Towers of Propertius. It is on two levels: the first floor features a large open space with a dining area, kitchen, living room with a comfortable double sofa bed and a fireplace, and a sleeping area with a double bed; the bathroom is on the lower level. The apartment is not air-conditioned but benefits from a natural feature that ensures the indoor temperature NEVER rises above 26 degrees in the summer. The brick vaults, stone walls, and antique terracotta floor make it unique. The renovation, overseen by an architect, was carried out with great respect for the history of this space: the brick vaults and stone walls are the originals, and the floor is made of antique terracotta tiles salvaged during the roof renovation of the same house. The bathroom was created in the old cistern on the floor below. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a smart TV and a large, fully functional fireplace. The accommodations are entirely reserved for guests and has a private entrance directly off a pedestrian street in the historic center, just a stone’s throw from the main square and the Towers of Propertius, while still offering complete tranquility and peace. A three-minute walk away, you’ll find several bars, traditional restaurants, artisan shops, and a convenience store. Spello, in addition to being a charming town that will enchant you—and whose historic center is well worth a thorough visit—is also an ideal starting point for day trips to Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Trevi, Montefalco, Bevagna, and the natural parks of Lake Trasimeno, Mount Subasio, and the Colfiorito Plateau. For special needs, self-check-in is available upon request.
