I recently stayed at CrossTimbers Marina and had a wonderful experience. The views were beautiful, and the setting was peaceful and quiet, which made it feel very relaxing. It's a cute little cottage in a beautiful location. We had coffee every morning on the porch overlooking the lake and watching the fishermen. It was just a walk up the hill to the pub (awesome) and the marina were we easily rented a pontoon boat for the day. The staff at each place was very helpful and friendly.

My wife and I stayed in one of the smaller cottages. We ran into a few issues. The check in process can be inconvenient. There was some miscommunication Between employees and myself. Also, they want you to check in by 5 PM or else they have to make other arrangements. So you only have a solid two hour window to check into your cottage. When we arrived, it was fairly clean, however, one of the outlets by the stove top was actually coming out of the wall, which could be a hazard. I did inform management, so hopefully they have fixed it. Other than that, we had a very pleasant stay, and I would stay there again. Not to mention that the view is amazing. .

Great view, peaceful stay

Have stayed overnight twice now as I frequent the area for business. What a great place to get away from the city and decompress for the evening. Have only stayed in Shoreside, and I love it! The sunset views cannot be beat. Great burgers at the Fuel Point food mart up the road.

Quaint little cabin - bare basics but does the job

A little hard to tell from the description, but there are three cabins here, all sharing a common wrap-around porch. Our cabin was basically a studio apartment, and I think the adjacent cabin is a mirror image sharing a wall between the two. The third cabin is probably a bit larger and has some extra privacy due to a small private porch & entrance on the back side. A bit smaller than expected, but it served our meager needs. The location is beautiful and well worth it. We loved sitting on the porch in the evening with the gas fire pit. There were a couple small things that weren’t set up - no batteries in the a/c remote and the tv didn’t have any service. When we messaged the property manager about it, we never received any reply. If you want evening media entertainment, make sure you download some shows in advance, since there is no wifi or cable available in the room.

Anniversary Getaway

We celebrated our 24 years of marriage at Skiatook lake. We had a pleasant trip. I was surprised at the size and that it was connected to other rentals. If I would have read close to other reviews I would have know these details.
