Our family of 4 stayed here for four days over Labor Day weekend. The home had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the home is beautifully decorated. The location is perfect. Close enough to all of the things Grand Haven has to offer but just far enough away that you’re not in the middle of all the traffic and crowds. Located in a very nice, quiet lakeside community, the neighborhood was perfect. We would definitely plan another stay at this property. We loved it.
This is a great house that has been well maintained and updated. It is also a great location that is central to Grand Haven and Muskegon as well as Grand Haven State Park & PJ Hoffmaster State Park. Plenty of restaurants and things to do nearby.
This is a beautiful cottage in a great location! You are within a short drive to so many hot spots and you can also walk to the end of the road and watch the boats go by.
We had a great stay at Doric St. As our luck would have it, the location was walking distance to my childhood home and a quick walk to Spring Lake Yacht Club. Doric St. is well appointed, updated, clean and close proximity to Grand Haven. We'll stay again. Thank you Tom!
Absolutely gorgeous property. A wonderful location with friendly neighbors and a considerate host. Tom clearly loves the area and has great recommendations. Everything is clean and well placed at the property, making everyday start and end with ease. We hope to return next summer!
The cottage was exactly what we wanted: very clean, great open floor plan, and conveniently located for the family activities we had planned for our vacation. We couldn't have asked for more and we hope to be back.
Tom does not miss a beat in his property. The house was nicely renovated, very nice area, nice people and water was very close.

Amazing Cottage
This cottage is Amazing! It was super clean and everything has been updated. It was perfect for our family and just a short distance from Spring Lake! The view was remarkable! Tom was super nice and stopped by to make sure we had all that we needed. We will definitely be back!
This home was perfect for an impromptu trip to the Grand Haven area. The owner was available to answer questions quickly and we even got to meet him. The kids love seeing the bunnies, birds and black squirrels. Close to a small public access for kayaking, swimming, jet skis.
A charming cottage within walking distance to Spring Lake. Close to many bike paths, and a short drive to North Shore beach on Lake Michigan. Light and airy with loads of linens and towels, and comfortable beds. A perfect location for a family that just wants to chill out, although Grand Haven and all of its attractions ( including the beautiful Grand Haven beach )is just a short drive away. Highly recommended.

Superclean, chic cottage with owners that care
The owner and his wife have not ignored any details. The entire cottage was recently redone with incredible taste and style. The linen is super clean and the kitchen is well stocked with utensils. The house is within 30 a second walk of beautiful Spring Lake and a small beach.
The owners are extremely caring and went out of their way to make sure our stay was outstanding. Will definitely stay again!

Cottage Chic
Fantastic rental! Impeccable style throughout. Superclean, airy, light & roomy. Calming Spring Lake views from the patio & a nice size yard for the kids to play. Close to the bike path, Sprink Lake, Grand Haven & Muskegon. Steps away from a private dock & beach. Owners were great to work with, couldn't ask for more! This cottage is a real charmer. We will definitely be back.
This cottage is in a great location! It is about a 10 minute drive to downtown Grand Haven and a 20 minute drive to Holland or Muskegon. There is a variety of things to do from shopping to hanging at the beach. The cabin was very clean and accommodating. Tom was in the area and came by to make sure everything was going good. It is always nice to put a name with a face:). We will definitely be back!
Very nice place -- it looked exactly like the pictures. Access to Spring Lake is good if you have a water craft. My kids preferred a sand beach; there are several nearby but not in easy walking distance. We aren't the sort to return to the same city season after season, but if I did come back to Spring Lake / Grand Haven I would definitely stay at this cottage again. The place was stocked with everything you could need. Well done.

We'll be back!!
Everything was as promised and then some. Beautiful little cottage only a few houses from the lake. We ate most meals at the table at water's edge. Nice quiet neighborhood and GREAT bikepaths. The paths are a little hilly-if you want a flatter ride head to Conklin or Ravenna. Also Kirk park has a great beach and it isn't crowded. Owner thought if many details that were an added bonus. Great place!
My family of 4, plus my parents, spent a week at this charming cottage. It was very relaxing and quiet due to its location in a neighborhood. We appreciated that the owner, Tom, stocked the cottage with everything needed. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. We brought our bikes and enjoyed paved bike trails, accessible at the end of the block. Make sure you bike around the lake (about an 11 mile scenic ride). We especially enjoyed walking the one block down to Spring Lake for daily and nightly strolls. Due to high water levels, our kids did not swim there; instead we enjoyed swimming in Lake Michigan. Go to Grand Haven State Park for the great beach. We had a wonderful time!

This is a great cottage with a Key West feel. Totally remodeled in the summer of 2011.
The landlords are great people. They live close by and were very responsive to our every need. The property is well maintained and very clean. It is move in ready and has everything needed to make a stay very comfortable. Plenty of room for your trailer if you bring a boat. It has a large backyard and a nice patio with a view of the lake. The boat dock is a nice feature and we used it regularly. Grand Haven and Muskegon are both nearby and both have great eating options. This is a boater or beachers paradise. There is a great childrens playground a block away. Our grandchildren couldn't get enough of it. We loved staying there and would recommend it to anyone.

Comfortable Home with Lake View
The home is everything you see and more. You feel a sense of comfort and relaxation the moment you walk in. I was looking for a nice place to rent over the winter months. Tom could not have been more accommodating. I moved in the end of September and was at ease from Day 1. The view of the lake is beautiful. I would drink my coffee watching the light of day come up over the water and enjoy a glass of wine as the sun set. The home has all the comforts needed. Tom was a gracious host and responded quickly to any inquiries I had (which weren't many!). I would highly recommend this cottage for anything from a long weekend escape to a winter home. I loved every minute of the 5 1/2 months I lived there and would not hesitate to stay again. Book it now.... you won't regret it!!

Michigan Vacation
This is an awesome place to stay. Anyone hoping to be close to the lake, but cannot afford beach front prices, will totally enjoy this cottage. The home comes with all the basic things you need to set up house for a week. The kitchen supplied us with the things needed for making meals which was a big plus. Having a washer and dryer was a life saver enabling us to pack less. Once you arrive you will find the inside has been totally remodeled, updated and very clean with room to entertain. We couldn't have been more pleased and hope to return again next year. The lake can be seen from the cottage and it's only a small walk to the lake front and private dock. Backyard is beautiful and so is the landing area, outside the front door, with wonderful places to sit. We enjoyed having the high speed Internet to research things to see in the area and to check on things back home. It's a good possibility anyone staying at the cottage will feel like they found their home away from home. Enjoy!
