"Lovely place"

"I stayed in a seaview room and it did not disappoint If I had complaints, they were minor- I don't prefer small beds, but I knew I booked one & it was cozy & comfy too I am not a small person & the space between the commode & the bathtub was minimal to non existent, anyone larger wouldn't have been able to use the facilities Part of the lack of space was caused by a heated towel rack, which quite honestly, was a very nice touch The tub was fairly wide & deep with jets, but that was the rub, the jets did not work & reaction from staff seemed to suggest the jets hadn't worked in a long time I didn't figure out the shower, but was happy to soak instead, perhaps instructions posted might help Otherwise it was a beautiful hotel with a perfect location & lovely views The staff was very friendly & helpful There was not a lift (elevator), but the gentleman carried my bags up to my room for me so that wasn't an issue either I didn't opt to eat at the bayswell due to time constraints but the food looked & smelled lovely I didn't have a fridge in my room, but the reception staff offered to keep my smoothie in the kitchen overnight so it wouldn't go bad I realized later, I could have also kept it on the window ledge too Was a very nice visit"

"Easy to find thanks to a text on the day directing us to the parking area. Met by Allison at the door and made very welcome. The room, Lindesfarne, (No4) was superbly furnished and the view was all we expected. Cant fault it. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and was of a high quality. Overall i'd have no hesitation in recommending The Roxburgh. "

"We really enjoyed our time at The Home Arms. The location was just amazing! The host was warm and welcoming, and the place was spotless and well cared for. The traditional English breakfast was really tasty. The only minor point is that the mattresses felt a bit too soft for our liking, as we’re more used to firmer support. It might be something to consider improving. All in all, we had a wonderful experience and would gladly come back."

"The room was clean but fairly basic. Breakfast on the first day the service was very slow and on our second day several items on the breakfast bar had run out and we had to ask for them to be replenished as the staff were not attentive."

"Superb couldn’t fault anything about the cottage, everything is in the property you only need your food. Would definitely return someday."

"Caravan was very clean and comfortable. A few things would further enhance the self catering experience such as a collander or seive for making pasta and rice. Overall the accommodation was as described and any questions asked of the host were answered quickly and fully. "
