Walk or take your car to the ocean! This 3BR/2BA St. Augustine home is a 2-minute stroll to the beach, and you can park beside the sand just blocks away on Matanzas Avenue.

A sprawling, fully fenced backyard boasts a private pool, an expansive lawn for family games, and two separate decks — including a deck with a patio table for alfresco dining!

The house is strolling distance to restaurants, shops, groceries, and a local park with a kids' playground. Destination highlights are also a quick drive away, including St. Augustine's historic downtown area (a 10-minute drive).

Bringing a boat? Drive less than 10 minutes to launch your vessel at Palmetto Road Boat Ramp or Frank Butler West Boat Ramp.

LIVING AREA

A long and open living space full of natural light has a chilled, by-the-beach vibe. A pair of armchairs greet you on arrival in a chilled sitting area.

Just beyond, the main living area features another three armchairs and a cushion--filled sofa. In the evenings, kick back in front of the 56' wall-mounted TV.

KITCHEN & DINING

At the far end of the living space, an open kitchen has a central island to chop ingredients, a range of stainless steel appliances, and a granite kitchen bar that seats four.

Steps from the kitchen, a light wood dining table seats another six.

BED & BATH

In the stylish master bedroom, a king bed sits opposite a 56” TV. Enjoy direct access to the balcony and an en-suite bathroom with a double vanity and walk-in shower.

The plush second bedroom features a queen bed and a 56” TV. A family-friendly third bedroom is detailed with two twin beds and a fun Florida map. The guest bathroom with a tub/shower combination.

THE LOCATION

While 5 minutes' drive away, the 1,600-acre Anastasia State Park boasts a 4-mile long white-sand beach, abundant wildlife, and opportunities for swimming, kayaking, and fishing.

Restaurants and shops are steps from the house, and there's a kids' park just blocks away. Family attractions include Marineland Dolphin Adventure (17-minute drive) and Anastasia Miniature Golf (7-minute drive).

Save time to explore St. Augustine's historic downtown (10-minute drive). Explore cobbled lanes, charming Spanish Colonial architecture, top-notch museums, and flit between numerous local shops and restaurants.

THINGS TO KNOW
The pool is typically serviced on Friday mornings, between 7am-8am. Guests should refrain from swimming 4 hours after pool service. There is an optional $400 pool heat fee.
The game room is accessed from the ground floor. There is no interior access to the game room from the main floor of the home.

Great shotgun style house with open floor plan. We loved our visit and the home was neat and clean. The only thing we had issues with is the microwave above the stove does not work so there was no vent for the stove and then there was were only 6 towels for five people for all week as they asked you not to wash them. Great place though and will look at staying again

Vacay nightmare

First let me say the vacation property itself is great!!! Neighbor is a renters nightmare. The neighbor is the president of the HOA, we had so many complaints that I can’t even list them all. We literally were contacted everyday and had to vacate the property 2 days early. I have NEVER had any complaints as a renter from the countless times I have rented through VRBO. The neighbor entered the back yard uninvited at one point, which is trespassing as far as I’m concerned, especially since he isn’t the owner of the property. He stated that he hates that this house is a rental!!! Vacasa multiple times went off what this neighbor said without even asking us our side of the story. So, if you have any children or play any music they will report you. To the point where we were told the music really isn’t to loud but we have a decibel reader and it’s to high. I have never cried so much on vacation. It was horrible. If you are a older couple or really any couple who has no children and who doesn’t want to listen to music then this is the place for you, but if you fall outside that range then you will hate the experience. I will end this review with that we also had to vacate the property two days early and we were not refunded.

Family School Vacation

We absolutely loved the house. It is a 5 minute easy walk to the ocean. You can hear the ocean early in the morning from the front porch. Lots to do and places to eat close by. Pool was great and had a grill to bbq and nice yard that the kids played pass and the dogs loved to run around in. Yard completely fenced in which made it great for the dogs or if you have small children. The only thing that we would have made it more enjoyable is if there were stairs to get to the back yard from the back porch. It also would have been better if the garage door opened in the back yard to make playing ping pong easier when everyone is outside. Bathroom downstairs in the garage is so convenient when outside. Overall we loved the house and hope to return again soon!!

Great house, great location.

This place is great for teens and dogs. The pool was a blessing to have and the ping pong table was the highlight of all of our competitions. Great neighborhood, great walk to the beach all very safe. Furniture was durable for our service dog and other puppy. The carpenter bees were an issue but if you don't bug them they go away. We had a great time. Great house. Problems arose with the pool cleaning. That is wrong in the listing. It comes on Friday not Mondays. The lawn service really should have a window of 2 hours for the family to re arrange their daily pool time, pool hours, outside time etc... The management had no idea when the lawn service was coming which really made me mad. Otherwise, I would for surely recommend this house. Loved it and had a wonderful time.

Fantastic experience

After i spent time reading reviews i had low expectations. But vacasa must have taken the feedback and improved a few things because i thought the property was terrific! The house was very clean. It is decorated in a cute, beachy theme. It is the perfect size for 5 or 6 people. There is nothing wrong with the stairs and i didn’t encounter any bees like another reviewer. The kitchen is stocked with more than adequate dinnerware, utensils, large plastic cups with lids and straws to use at the pool, even salt and sweeteners for your coffee. I thought there was plenty cleaning supplies as opposed to another reviewer. It is a super easy walk to the beach. You have to cross a1a, but it is only two lane at this spot and there is an electronic crosswalk sign to make it easy and safe. There are a couple beach chairs and a cart to take to the beach. The beds are very comfortable- even the bottom mattress of the bunk beds (i didn’t sleep on the top one). A/c worked great, as did wifi. The pool is perfect. It’s true a little grass does get in it after the lawn service mows on thursdays, but it is very easy to use the pool skimmer to get it out in 2 minutes tops. When we contacted the management company via text we received immediate answers. Maybe other folks had a different experience than we did - but we couldn’t think of any constructive criticism- it’s just a great place!

Great Location but Bee-ware

First the positives: The house location is great, walkable to the beach and in a nice, family neighborhood. The size was just big enough for our small family with plenty of TVs (if everyone wants to watch something different) and great Wifi. It’s also great to have use of the beach caddy/chairs especially if you are not driving to the house for your vacation. Now, the negatives, that sadly outweigh the positives: The only access to the house is via old wooden stairs in desperate need of repair (not sure they would pass any code) that have been eaten away at by a swarm of carpenter bees. The deck in both the front & back are also old wood with swarming bees making the use of the outside sadly impossible. You have to dodge giant bees entering & leaving the front door and we didn't even get to enjoy the pool. Also, it should be noted that the game room in the garage is not accessible from inside the house. You have to go out the bee-infested front entry, down the precarious wooden stairs, unlock the side garage door, then open the back garage door. This is the only access to the backyard as well. There is no access to the pool/yard from the kitchen sliders/deck. Be aware that the bunk beds are incredibly squeaky and unsleep-able. Luckily our daughter was able to sleep in the Queen bed which was very comfortable. It would also be nice if they provided more garbage bags and cleaning supplies to keep your space clean. This is a long review, but I am hoping to help families plan.

Great for families

House was great for our short trip to St. Augustine. About 10-15 minutes from the historical area. The house was equipped with most needs ( a few more cleaning supplies and garbage bags would have been nice). The house was a few blocks from the ocean, straight shot from closest East West cross street bonus you can drive on the beach with the appropriate vehicle. The downstairs game room was great. We didn't use the pool, but the whole outdoor area is well equipped for the whole family. We would definitely rent this property again it was a quiet location but close enough to everything we wanted to do.

Amazing location and amenities!

This was a great stay. The house was exceptionally clean and furnished with an in-ground pool, fenced in yard and super close to the Butler Beach and a Cuban cafe for early morning coffee or a Mexican restaurant for some quick eats. Everything is supplied and in great shape. All you need are groceries, sun block and a fun attitude. There’s a great putt-putt course down the road and lots of places along the beach to swim and surf in, grab shells or sea glass, and walk the estuary. I’d recommend you bring your bikes if so inclined. I was trying to book again, but they’re already booked so if you see the week you want, grab it. This place was a real gem. I’m a single dad with two teens and a little dog and it was worth every mile and dollar to be here. We had the best time!!

Had better expectations

After reading several positive reviews about this property, we were excited to stay here. Overall, the house is nice. Feels like newer construction. TVs in every room and a private pool out back. The bad news is that the house was infested with bugs. Ants, fleas, gnats, you name it….it was there. Contacted the property rep who said they would reach out to an exterminator. Never heard back. We all have bug bites all over and we had to throw away a lot of food that got covered in ants. There’s no pantry to keep food in. The ants are obviously a known problem as there were already ant baits out on the counter when we got there. But fleas and other bugs too? In the beds and on the living room seats? Understand this is a pet friendly house, but obviously someone had a dirty animal. Although the cleaning company did okay, there was still a bunch of dog hair on the floor. Also, two days after the pool was “cleaned” which included a VERY heavy dose of chemicals and chlorine so strong we could barely swim in it, a landscaper came and cut grass. Blew tons of lawn clipping in the pool and all over the pool deck. Because the pool is cleaned on Mondays, it remained filthy the rest of the time we were there. I don’t fault the property owner for any of this. This is typical of big vacation companies like Vacasa. Mediocre property management at best and poor response when there’s an issue. Lastly, you get one tiny outdoor trash can for the entire week. Needless to say, it was overflowing by mid week, and on checkout day, we got to clean up trash that had been torn through by raccoons. Who can blame them? We had no choice but to leave trash on the ground. This place has a lot of potential, but needs a more attentive property manager or the owner needs to be more aware of the issues that are being ignored by the property manager.

Wanted to love it, but ☹️

House itself was as advertised—clean and in a nice neighborhood. However, upon arrival, the pool (main reason we booked this property) was green with algae along the sides and bottom. Had sample tested—no chlorine!!! After numerous messages, the pool was shocked on day 3, but not actually cleaned, so of course the issue was never fully resolved during our week-long holiday stay. Ultimately, we did receive a credit for the poor condition of the pool. Unfortunately, however, we do not recommend this property if being able to use the pool is important to you.

Worst vacation rental I have ever had. Vacasa was horrible to deal with.

We arrived on Saturday June 25. Upon arrival we were met with 3 large outdoor trash bins overflowing with garbage that smelled as it had been there for weeks. You have to walk past it to get in the house. It was disgusting. The advertised sparkling pool was covered in green algae. I wouldn’t let a dog swim in that. The main reason we rented this house was for the pool for our 10 year old granddaughter. I immediately called Vacasa and was told they would get someone out that afternoon. No one ever came. I called and texted every single day multiple times a day and no one ever Showed up from Vacasa to Get the trash or service the pool. Garbage pick up was on Monday and we took all that trash to the street. I will add that there were 6 of us in the house and we didn’t fill up one of those bins the entire week. So, I wonder how long that trash had been out there. The algae continued to get worse and still nobody came to clean the pool. Our granddaughter was heartbroken. Finally, by Tuesday night someone at Vacasa calls me back and offers a forced move. Of course, a week before July 4 th, there were no other comparable houses available. The advertised gas grill was so nasty it couldn’t be used. Some of the outdoor furniture needs to be disposed of. My husband fell out of one of the Adirondack chairs that was broken when he sat down not seeing it was broken. Luckily he was not hurt. Vacasa finally issued a partial refund, but I feel it wasn’t enough. We would have gone somewhere else to stay if we could have found something. On numerous occasions I asked Vacasa to have a manager calle me. My requests were totally ignored. I sent them daily pictures of the pool and they never sent anyone out to clean the pool.I kept getting canned text responses saying a ticket had been created and someone would get back to me. My husband ended up buying a pool brush, and the necessary pool chemicals to clean the pool himself ( we had our own pool for over 30 years)so our granddaughter could swim the last 2 days we were there. I was so stressed at the end of the week from trying to get a response from Vacasa, I need another vacation. I will say that the house itself is lovely and the interior was clean. But, with all the other issues, my vacation was ruined.

New Favorite!

From the second we opened the door, we knew this was going to be a wonderful vacation! This house was perfect for our family - plenty of room, well-stocked, perfect location, and the pool was amazing! We have never been as happy with a vacation home as we were with this one, and we can’t wait to come back!

Senior Vacation

Everything was great except it rained about 50% of the time. The pool was not heated and the step up to the house was too much, especially since we had to catty or bags and food up the stairs. It kicked our a--es

Perfect rental

Took a quick end-of-semester trip with my 15 year old son and our two dogs. This was the perfect rental for us! Very clean and comfortable, very secure yard for the dogs to explore and close enough to walk them to the beach. Also loved the outdoor shower with removable sprayer so I could wash off their paws after the beach. The dogs also loved being able to relax on the back deck in the sun. Short drive to downtown for exploring with my son too. We hope to be back after school gets out in May, this time with my husband, and when it’s warm enough to use the pool!

Family Stay

Great property and neighborhood. One bedroom had been updated, different from booking pictures. Nice update. Yard was nice but our weather didn’t allow use of pool. The agreement asked us to replace supplies used but we had minimal garbage bags upon arrival (2) and no food baggies so we didn’t replenish. There was very little laundry soap but we did supply a bottle when leaving. Would definitely recommend this property and would rent again!

Perfect home away from home

This property was super clean and had everything that we needed during our stay. The game room was a complete and awesome shock to us. The beach is walking distance from the house. There was hardly anyone at the beach during our stay. Felt like our little paradise. The beds are all super comfortable. We did not have any issues so we did not have to Contact anyone during our stay. We did receive a call before we arrived to let us know that there was some debris in the pool due to a recent storm and that the pool is scheduled to be cleaned in 2 days. There was some leaves but nothing major and did not stop my kids from getting in. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect Getaway

We really enjoyed this house, Very with stocked with everything you need for a week long vacation. The pool was very nice, nice quiet neighborhood. Beach was a short distance away, we drove, because you can drive on the beach. This unit is close to some great restaurants, The Oasis was great, Safe Harbor was great, and Island Donuts was amazing, The Pizza At Romano's on the beach was the Best Pizza we have ever had, Bar none!. Hats off to the owners for allowing this property to be Dog friendly, Our little Mountain Fiest loved the ocean. Thanks Again for a Great Vacation

Lovely home and very clean.

The home was great but the stairs for seniors was too much. The beach was too far for us to walk and you needed a permit to park on the beach. The home and grounds were perfect. My son and his wife used the pool and loved it. Thank you for opening your home to us.

Loved our stay!

This is an adorable house. Very clean. Well maintained. Really nice pool. Just a short walk down the road from an amazing beach or you can drive and park your vehicle right onto the beach. Close to local restaurants and attractions. We had a blast!
