Wayne, the owner, lives just above the flat. He had the little kitchen stocked with everything needed to fix a hot meal. Even had some eggs in the refrigerator as well as bottled water. The water in the shower is hot if you want it. Mosquito net and fan for the bed. He has cable television with many selections. The place was clean and you could see he takes pride in his place. In communicating to him I arranged for him to pick me up at the airport and he took me to the osprey ferry in the morning for Carriacou for $20 USD which is what the going rate is. The property location is in the hills behind St. George. It would be quite a walk to go back downtown. He took me by the fruit market on the way to his house. There were a couple of small minimarts not far from his house but no restaurants that I could see. If you want to go to a restaurant to eat I would do it on the way to his house. Overall it was just what I needed after the long trip from California.
