St. John in never disappoints! From the clean rooms, to helpful staff it is alway a pleasure staying there. Rum punch happy hour & breakfast are always great! Love this place!

We loved our stay! The hotel is quaint, friendly hosts, close to everything in Cruz Bay. They have equipment available for a beach day (coolers, chairs, snorkels, etc.), free parking, lovely happy hour to enjoy and meet the other guests, and a refreshing pool to end your day. We would stay here again.

Love the Caribbean vibe of this hotel! Short walk to Cruz for great restaurants and shopping! I felt safe as a solo traveler. Dave, the owner was ver accommodating and knew how to be a great host with a happy hour and great conversation!

Easy access from the car ferry and within walking distance to a market, restaurants and the National Park Visitor Center. Staff very welcoming, knowledgeable about the island, and very accommodating. Property provided beach towels, chairs, coolers and snorkeling gear to borrow during our stay.

Mike and Mariah were amazing. Way above and beyond assisting with anything we could think of. The place was very cute and we loved the little swimming pool. It was walking distance to dolphin market, with a tasty chicken tender and mac and cheese counter next door (thanks Mike!) and also bars and restaurants.

We enjoyed our stay at St. John Inn. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Breakfast was adequate to get you started in the morning! The room was wonderful. I loved the sharing area to borrow snorkeling gear, coolers, towels etc. Also, items left behind for other guests such as suntan lotion etc. Would highly recommend this Inn while enjoying your stay on St. John's!

Great stay

All of the employees/owners are great and very flexible. We went to multiple hotels throughout our trip and this was the most flexible and communicative hotel we stayed at! Room is spacious and has a couch/tv area. It is also located close to town - as long as you are comfortable walking 1/2 a mile, it’s very easy to get a taxi. It is pricer in general but affordable for St John!

A fun, quirky place to stay. Perfect for our St John experience. It's not a fancy, modern hotel experience, so if you are looking for that go elsewhere. The rooms are clean and comfy, but unconventional. We really liked being able to use the library of books and maps and beach gear (chairs, coolers, towels, snorkel equip) for our play time, and love that they have "leftover lotion and bug spray" available for guest use. Why throw away a perfectly good, mostly full bottle of product when another guest leaves it because they don't want to pack it on the plane? Staff was very friendly and helpful and great to chat with. We also enjoyed being able to interact with other guests around breakfast and rum punch. The neighborhood is working class, but safe. Easy walking to Cruz Bay shopping and dining. Only complaint would be that the bed was not very comfortable, but overall it was a nice place and a great experience. Would go back in a heartbeat!

The location is amazing! Close to shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants. The staff are wonderful and make you feel welcome, chat, and answer questions about the area. The inn is older, funky and had all the amenities we needed. Breakfast was great-bagels, English muffins, cereal, juice, coffee, milk, and apples. The water is drinkable. We appreciated the ice cold water after walks! Rum punch happy hr was appreciated. They offer coolers, beach chairs, towels, and floaties. They have a take leave area for sunscreen-bug spray which is great. The pool is cool, clean, and a peaceful pleasant area with plants and a bathroom. They do have parking. Air conditioning is great! It is the BEST value I found for amenities and price on the island. If you are looking for a bougie resort this isn’t it, if you want a great value, comfortable bed, awesome location, and quirky- fun atmosphere this is for you! I also enjoyed having a suite room (Cruz bay) which had a full oven, microwave, full size fridge. My only advice is to prepare yourself for the very steep hills (great cardio) and very sharp curves if driving the island! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
