"Clean room, a bit dated and rough around the edges. Needs some TLC. Simple but fine breakfast."

"The bed was super comfy and a king size. Towels were fluffy and big. Room was hot but it was the time of the heatwave and a fan was already in the room so all good. The breakfast was delicious and loads of it. The staff were also great, particularly Jimmy who showed us to our room, he served us a pint and said that if it was not up to standard, to let him know and he’d change it! All great customer service, all round from everyone at the Nags Head - well done all!"

"This Inn is an old building and we appreciate that it is difficult to keep clean, but a more thorough dusting of the bedrooms at least would not go amiss. The bathroom facilities were a bit cramped and tired. The full breakfasts were fine, but the evening meal choices, and quality, were ok but not inspiring. The free car park was adequate for the number of rooms, but could be overwhelmed if a function was being held. Other car parks are available nearby. The location could hardly be bettered, very near the town; the cathedral; and the attractive Bishop's Palace Gardens. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A satisfactory place for a short stay in Chichester."

"This hotel is close to the City Centre and has around 5 parking spaces for clients. The staff were very kind and helpful. The property is very old and each room is named after the Cathedral bishops. The room was light and airy with windows that open. We were at the back and there is a public path which was a bit noisy. The rooms are fine but could do with some updating. The breakfast was made to order and hot which cannot be said for more modern hotels in the City."

"The house is absolutely huge and really beautiful. It's very close to the train station. Only down side is how far away it is from parking but Chichester is quite a small city so it's best to go by foot anyway. Some of the rooms had blue bottle flies in them, we counted up to 20 in the largest room. It was a really hot day so it could have been that but it did give us the creeps. The house gets a lot of airflow so it remained cool during the heat. Great stay, thank you so much."

"We had a lovely week’s holiday in this excellent cottage. It is very clean, comfortable and well equipped. There were nice little touches like tea, coffee and sugar. The torches in the bedside drawers were useful, especially in the night with the step down to the bathroom. The stairs were steep (we are in our late 70’s) but the bannister was good so not a problem. We travelled by train and the cottage was about a 20 minute walk from the station and the same from the town. The car parking would have been very useful if we had driven."
