Beautiful restored home, beds were so comfortable. Quick drive to st Joe museums and downtown. Owner is super nice guy. We had a mix up with Expedia over the nights planned and he fixed it quickly.

Olin is a great proprietor, and Holly and Sharon could not have been more helpful and kind in getting us going every morning with a hearty breakfast and wonderful cheer. I was with three kids and we all loved it. Will be back again.

What a great surprise to be found in St Joe, MO! The “Whisky” is impectably stated with timeless treasures, very modern yet period rooms and a breakfast that you will thoroughly enjoy. What a find! Keep it in mind if you ever need a night away from more traditional lodging. Break out and feel frisky at the St Joe. “Whisky”.

If you love Victorian homes, I do, I was blown away by its beauty. The beds were big and comfy comfy with plenty of pillows and plush blankets. The breakfast and coffee was delicious and filling, I sooo wish I could've spent more time in the building to sit and absorb. I want to come back just to do that.

Had a great time at the mansion. Our room was well appointed and the breakfast well prepared and special. We never had anything for breakfast that we had had prior to our stay. The staff was outstanding and kept us well informed of the area and eateries. That last day we were served by the owner who knew his stuff. Each day we met with one staff member who guided us on everything we needed to see. Be aware that the mansion is undergoing continuous upgrades as at times the work may seem awkward, but it never bothered us.
