"Very hospitable staff"

"This is our second time staying at the Clermont Charing Cross and we had an excellent stay once again. We checked in early due to our room being ready which was so kind. As always the hotel was well presented and smelt lovely! It makes me so glad to be there! The staff were welcoming and helpful especially around the unfortunate lift breakdown that occurred during our stay. They covered this tricky situation well with kindness in a time that must have been stressful for the team. The room was exceptional as always with a wonderful bed space for my daughter overlooking the Thames with a view of the city. The complimentary mini bar is appreciated as always with top up offered during our stay. We had a lovely breakfast and lunch which was delicious both table service (lunch) and buffet style (breakfast). Thank you so much to the staff. "

"As always came up to expectations. Was unhappy with room on first night. (Sofa bed uncomfortable.) Staff willingly, pleasantly and helpfully changed us to another room. Very happy with second room. Had most contact with the porters. Each and every one very helpful, very polite and a pleasure to meet"
