"Friendly and informative check in, with the staffer helping we old folks with our suitcases up to the room. Large clean room. The room was booked at last minute (an earlier booking had been made for the next night) because our cruise ship had mechanical issues and we had to disembark a day early. So we actually had two check ins because our pre-booked room was different. The staff held our luggage then moved it into our second night room. This hotel is wonderful and we will cheerfully stay here again when we return to Athens."

"Lovely large hotel with all the amenities and services you’d expect from the Hyatt. Big rooms too. Great view from the terrace. Staff at reception were perhaps not super helpful in providing all information. In terms of location, it’s probably a tad bar to get into the main tourist area (20 mins - fine but not easy to go back and forth), plus on a main road / highway so not a pleasant walk."

"1. Room was spectacular with a balcony view of the Olympia Zeus Temple Grounds across the street. 2. Every staff member was exceptionally kind, warm, welcoming and helpful. 3. The rooftop restaurant is a magical visual tour de force with the cuisine chops to match! Evening views of an uplit Parthenon, anyone? 4. The perfect launchpad for countless excursions. Mere steps from 2 major tour companies! So the meeting points to head to island-hop or head to Meteora, etc were super accessible! 5. A quick jaunt to the markets, many fabulous restaurants, the park and shopping galore! "

"This hotel truly lived up to its name, Grande, and was definitely worth the price tag. The location is excellent, offering easy walking access to the hop-on hop-off bus (directly across the road), Attica department store, Ermou Street for shopping, and many other attractions. Breakfast was outstanding — the freshest and tastiest we’ve had, both from the buffet and the à la carte menu. The rooftop views across Athens were absolutely beautiful. The staff were exceptional; Katrina at breakfast remembered our usual order from our very first visit, and her professionalism was a wonderful start to each day. The only area for improvement would be the guest rooms, which would benefit from renovation. We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality 🙂"
