I recently stayed at Sand Vista and had a great stay! This place is small but has a great 1950's beachside motel charm to it. The woman who worked the front desk was welcoming and very informative. I booked this stay last minute through Expedia, was able to get a room with a great partial ocean view and checked in almost immediately.
The grounds are great! This place isn't very big but they have everything you would need in a seaside motel. The beach chairs were a great amenity. They have several different chairs and umbrellas you can take over to the beach at no charge. Usually these chairs are pretty broken and rusted (when they are free), however the chairs at Sand Vista were in great shape!
The location is unbeatable for the price. It's located right across the street from Reddington Beach public access. You can be from the parking lot to the sand in less than 3 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well (some within walking distance).
The room I stayed in was a tad dated, but I think that ties into the overall charm of this place. I would recommend getting the Upstairs Gulfside Studio. It's not a huge room, but you do get a partial ocean view! One side of this motel overlooks Gulf Blvd towards the ocean, and the other side overlooks the Inlet.
Overall I really enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it!
