Welcome to Island Whimsy!

Built in 2021, this breathtaking vacation rental home is ready to welcome guests! Located in the quaint cul-de-sac neighborhood of Couper Place, Island Whimsy is the perfect island escape for guests to enjoy time away from it all but minutes to the beaches, shopping, and restaurants on St. Simons Island. The outdoor space of Island Whimsy offers your own private resort setting, featuring a 14x24 pool with a spa that can be heated for an additional $45 per day, as well as in-water lounge chairs! The décor of the home is a comfortable island theme guests will be able to find multiple living spaces indoors and outdoors to enjoy. The open-concept living / kitchen / dining space offers a 60" HD Smart TV, perfect for guests to enjoy a family movie night or the game!

Guest reservations of 3 to 21 nights come with a valuable credit to use towards beach gear rentals during your stay! The credit amount of $40/night is included in each reservation. You may use your credit for bicycles, beach chairs and umbrellas, beach carts, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, and even experiences with select vendors! – the choice is yours!

The spacious primary suite is located on the ground level with a King size bed and an en suite bathroom. Upstairs, guests will find three Guest Bedrooms. The first Guest Bedroom has a King size bed with access to the hall bathroom. The second Guest Bedroom has two twin size beds with access to the hall bathroom. The third Guest Bedroom is a bonus room with two full-size beds with trundle beds and a bathroom.

Any group gatherings and events at this property are limited to the number of occupants (10 persons). Events such as weddings, rehearsal dinners, receptions, etc. are not permitted.

The cleanliness of the whole house and grounds was fantastic. Everything was very comfortable. The kitchen was well set up with all cooking items needed. The hot tub was very warm but the jets didn’t really work. But was still enjoyable. The pool was very clean.

Beautiful, with EVERYTHING you need!

We stayed here with three couples and two teenage boys. The home was PERFECT for our families. My elderly parents took the primary bedroom on the main floor, allowing them to avoid the stairs. The home is equipped with more pillow, blankets, towels, dishes, beach chairs, and bikes than I have ever encountered before. (We vacation a lot on the island.) The home is GORGEOUS as well… like something straight out of a magazine. Short bike ride to The Village and short car ride to any beach entrance. The ONLY thing I can complain about is the hot tub/spa. We paid the extra money to have it heated, and it was; however, the jets did not work properly. We called and they sent someone to look at it. The bubbles came on, but only once and continued not to work for the remainder of our stay. We plan to speak to Lilmar more about the situation.We still had the absolute BEST time and were so comfortable in this house. I would highly recommend this vacation home to anyone needing comfort, space, and luxury on St. Simons.

First Class!

We had a great stay! The house is even better than pictured. It was immaculate, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable and beautifully furnished. The location is terrific, too. The management company is outstanding and communication was great. This house and management company are first class. We highly recommend this home and look forward to renting it again.

The house was beautiful! The location is on a quiet cul de sac and is just 5 min from everything. The heated pool and hot tub were great for our family, especially on the cooler spring days. Instructions for the pool were easy to follow. Everything was clean and the house is well appointed. You won’t be disappointed! Would book again if we’re in the area.

Wonderful Island Home

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. The home was clean, well maintained and furnished beautifully. The location was very close to the Village and a short walk/bike ride to nearby restaurants. The pool was wonderful and we enjoyed having a screened in porch to stay outside without being in full sun. Definitely recommend this home!

First Rate Stay

Beautiful home at end of cul-de-sac. Clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated. Enjoyed the smartly laid out pool area. Loved the porch for morning coffee and evening board games. Extra large upstairs bedroom/ living area was the perfect spot for my daughter’s young family to spread out. Kids could nap away from noise of the main living area. We loved the layout of this house. Beds were especially comfortable. Road the bikes every day. Great way to explore this beautiful island town and one of the extras many properties do not include. I had some questions about the amenities before we arrived and they were answered in a timely way. Instructions for getting into the house were clear and reminders were sent at least twice the weeks/ days before our arrival. We’ve rented properties for many years and Island Whimsey is a favorite!!

A Piece of Paradise

We had an amazing stay at Island Whimsy! The property was beautifully decorated and very clean. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from ample kitchen equipment that allowed us to cook delicious meals at home, to tons of beach towels, beach chairs, and other beach equipment such as coolers that made the stay super convenient. We had the pool heated and I'm so glad we did that! We had a wonderful time hanging in the pool and hot tub, even when the temps were a little chillier. The great Customer Service and timely communications with our inquiries answered quickly were also very much appreciated. We rent VRBO properties regularly, and this is definitely one of our favorites we've rented thus far. This place definitely does not disappoint, and we can't wait to come back in the future!

Family Thanksgiving!

The house was perfect for our family over Thanksgiving. The kitchen had everything that was needed. The pool was heated to 90° and the layout was perfect. Perfect location between the beach, restaurants and shops. There was plenty of room with six adults and three kids. The upstairs bonus room was a nice touch with a second living area, and two beds with trundles.

Wonderful time!

Our family of 7 thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at Island Whimsy. The home is very clean and well-appointed. We enjoyed the pool everyday, and relaxed with good books on the screened porch. After making a good meal in the spacious, well-appointed kitchen, we would sink into our fluffy beds in cool bedrooms at night - ceiling fans lulling us to sleep. Location of home is excellent. Easy walk to village, beaches, etc.

End of Summer Vacation

Island Whimsy was great! The property has everything you need for a week at the beach. This is the best rental property I have stayed in with all the amenities, and the decor is island perfect. I would highly recommend this property to anyone, and it was perfect for our end of summer vacation at one of our favorite places.
