Our East Beach cottage, 'The Hideaway,' offers modern amenities combined with the embracing charm of Saint Simons- makes for the perfect East Beach experience! Invite your family and friends to stay and experience their most complete beach vacation yet. We are an easy five-minute walk to the beach and offer an ultra- private pool in our fenced-in backyard. Our home has it all; the pool; the beach- sit on our charming front porch to enjoy your morning coffee, or ride your bike on the scenic paths to nearby shops and restaurants. Guaranteed you will not want to leave!

Our four bedroom, three bathroom home easily sleeps 9 people. The first bedroom on the first floor has a queen bed and an ensuite with a tiled shower. The second bedroom on the first floor has a king bed, a tv, and ensuite bathroom. Upstairs, the first bedroom on the left has two twin beds. The second bedroom has a king and a twin day bed. The full bathroom upstairs has a double vanity and a standing tile shower. Our cottage is fully furnished including an outdoor shower, Wi-Fi, fully stocked kitchen and a washer/dryer.

East Beach is the best location on St. Simons Island with a neighborhood feel, salty ocean breezes, a beach unaffected by the tides and restaurants and shopping around the corner.

This was the fourth time we've stayed at this same home and we love it here! Unfortunately we were not able to sit around the outdoor table together for dinner because one of the chairs was broken and the other chair was on the brink of falling apart. We reached out to Property Management the day after we checked in and we're told sorry we can't find one to replace it. Which seems odd because it's not a special chair. It just would have been nice to have a fourth chair so we could all sit down together. It is definitely time for some work to be done on the house. With the refrigerator shelf being broken and the shower curtain rod in our bathroom falling down.

Lovely stay

The property was beautiful! The home was clean and plenty big enough for our family. Communication with the manager was excellent. They immediately responded to our request to have the pool cleaned. And just to be clear, the water in the pool was fine; there was some debris in the pool from the storm that blew in. The home had everything we needed for our stay. We would stay here again.

East Beach bungalow

Property very clean with plenty of sleeping space. Having 3 bathrooms was a plus! Kitchen had basic needs but there were items if available would have made it better. There should be a more frequent pool cleaning schedule or have vaccuum onsite. It was filled with leaves and dirt from the trees that are directly over it upon arrival. It was 24 hours before the pool cleaning company arrived. When a guest checks in it should be cleaned at that time just like the inside. The beach is not really within walking distance if you are taking chairs,umbrellas, etc.

Very nice house and location for our family

The home was perfect for our family of 3 couples and two small children. Three bedrooms with their own bathrooms plus a room with twins allowed everyone to have their own space. The living room, dining, and kitchen were spacious and nicely furnished. The location with easy walk to beach and the shops and restaurants near King and Prince was perfect. It was too cold outside for us to enjoy the pool and patio but looked nice as well and well landscaped.

We love this home!

Everything about this home is delightful. The home is clean, the beds comfortable, the kitchen well supplied. The pool is a wonderful size- bigger than the photos indicate. The decor is warm and comfortable, plenty of extra blankets and pillows. Layout is easy and accommodating. Only wish the property had a golf cart included! We have stayed here 2 times and will def be back again.

Good for summer. Not great for winter, children under 6.

At $600 night, the home and location were good, not great. Clean property. The placement and flow of some things were a little odd... From light switches for bathrooms not located well in the bathroom to unsecured water heater/attic access doors next to children's rooms. On the flip side, the home seems well suited for elderly with grab bars and a flat first floor with two spacious bed rooms. The Roku in the den is temperamental and requires rebooting each day to connect to the internet to watch TV. This might not matter so much if the Roku was not the only way to watch TV. But it is. The washer/dryer and pool pump ajoin the open floorplan eating/living space to ensure you're bathed in sound. At good moments the consequence is white noise and at other moments this evokes a desire to flee the space. The pool heater is not operational. The east beach location is nice. The kitchen is nice. The number of bedrooms is nice. In summer, provided you are indoors mainly to sleep, this seems like it would make for a great stay. Anecdotally, the property next door is for sale and we were greated by a crime scene like vibe when we arrived after sunset at 7pm from the flashing/strobing led lights of the golf cart on said property. It proceeded to flash througout the night through the windows of the lower bedroom windows. I hope the property sells soon for the sake of the neighboring properties.

Loved it so much, we booked again!

Our party of 8 adults enjoyed this property for a week so much that we have already reserved it again for next year! The pool was absolutely beautiful and private! We had 6 adults playing games or relaxing in it, and it was the perfect size! The house was very spacious. The kitchen/dining/living space is open-concept, and the attached sunroom is another comfortable area to relax when you get out of the pool. All the bedrooms had TONS of closet and dresser storage. The kitchen was well stocked and updated. The entire house and pool were very clean. The location in East Beach is perfect for a 2-3 minute bike ride to the beach or just riding or walking around the quiet residential neighborhood. The AC worked really well, too! It was perfect. I highly recommend this property!

Family Trip

Perfect house in our favorite East Beach neighborhood for our family vacation. Having the pool after a hot day at the beach is amazing! Updated kitchen was a nice surprise. Already booked again for next year!

Family Getaway

Perfect spot for a family. Not a bad walk to the beach. The pool was a great addition. We also rented a golf cart to make getting around a lot easier. Would definitely stay here again!

Was not pleased with the property. Needs some major updating including appliances, furniture and overall cleanliness. Did like the location and pool, wish it was heated. The house was a good size and fit our family.

Great spot on the island!

We have stayed at a few different spots on East Beach and this was our favorite yet! The pool is perfect for adults lounging or kids playing. Great beach access with a golf cart (under 5 mins) and the house was super clean with a great layout for two families. We would definitely rent this house again!

Awesome Beach House

Loved the location - short walk to the beach and short golf cart or bike ride to the village. Backyard area with pool was great! East Beach area has a special charm and the beach rental felt the same.

Family Vacation

We loved having the pool. We didn't feel like the access to the closest beach was conducive to using wagons to carry our canopy, chairs, etc., so we ended up driving to another beach. If you are able to carry your stuff, it may be an option, but it is a bit of a hike. The kitchen was well-equiped and if you want to go to the village, you have to drive there. We had a great time!
