The Windward is not a 5 star facility but it's clean, and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. It is safe and has the best and convenient location in downtown Charlotte Amilie overlooking the wharf. Unbeatable for shopping and good food.

The hotel definitely needs a major upgrade. From my understanding, the property was built in 1984, and it shows in many areas. However, the rooms were clean and the AC worked very well, which made the stay comfortable. With some renovations and updates, this hotel could be a really great place to stay.

There was much to be desired but that did not take away from the overall pleasant experience I’ve had while staying in the area. The hotel is located is situated in the capital which is a great and historic area with a nearby ferry, picturesque views, various activities and friendly, helpful locals. The staff is responsive, welcoming, kind and as helpful as can be.

This place was phenomenal, the hotel room was a great price with a great view, the staff was very courteous and helpful, th rooms were very clean the only negative about it is we ate breakfast in the restaurant and breakfast cost $65. Quite a bit overpriced but other than that everything else was great.
