"This is just an easy train hop from Florence. Empoli is adorable. If you would like a spot from where you can head out to anywhere in Tuscany, this is a great spot. It has a lovely balcony and Tatiana and other staff where very nice and helpful. "
"Very basic lodgings - simple but good location between Florence & Pisa. Breakfast place right underneath the rooms made breakfast convenient. Parking was super simple & across the street, which is rare in Italy. "
"We loved our stay at the Borgo La Casseta. It’s a family business, they have a small restaurant on the main floor. It takes approx half an hour drive up the hill to get there from Pistoia. A little bit tricky to find. Parking is free (gated property).
The room was clean, separate bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. A spectacular 180 degree city/valley view.

"The owners were really accommodating, we had early starts everyday and they made sure we had breakfast available before we left. The property is very clean and tidy, and the pool area was nice and quiet. As a family of four we really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this BnB if you are visiting Tuscany"

The gym is a great addition, well-equipped and convenient. The spa is fantastic, though some amenities like the sauna, showers, and relaxation areas aren’t included unless you’re staying in one of the wellness rooms, which is a bit unusual compared to other luxury spas. "We stayed here for 5 nights and absolutely loved it. Each bedroom was very charming and comfortable— each with its own bathroom. The ACs worked great in the bedrooms and we really didn’t need to use the downstairs AC in the kitchen and it was mid August. The pool was amazing as well. Our one criticism was that showers and sinks in each bathroom did not drain very well and the shower in one bedroom didn’t seem to be sealed well at the bottom so the shower floor would fill up and sometimes leak out onto the tile floor. It may be an issue of old plumbing. I let the management know and they said they would look into it. Also, just FYI there are no separate pool towels for the villa other than the bathroom towels provided.But those were both minor things. I highly recommend this villa! Check-in and check-out was easy. Management was always quick to respond and communicate. You will love this place!"
"A true hidden gem!!! Agriturismo Casetta has great amenities, a beautiful pool with a breathtaking view of the Tuscan Valley. Their restaurant's food and drinks are also amazing and their staff were very professional and kind. We will come back to Agriturismo Casetta in the future. "
"This was a little slice of heaven. Just what you see in the movies. Tuscany is dreamy. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bathroom small villa with a kitchen and family living space. There is a beautiful pool and beautiful rolling hills surrounding the property. During summer months it is helpful to take mosquito repellent if you plan on being outside a lot."
"Our family of 4 were welcomed with a warm smile and lots of attentiveness from Giulia. We stayed in a cozy 2 bdr farmhouse apt equipped to cook in. We arrived by train to the station at Montelupo. Giulia recommended a few taxi drivers for us and the ones we had were so friendly. I would recommend renting a vehicle to drive to/from the property as taxi rides can be quite expensive. Giulia was fun and very knowledgeable. Always available to answer our questions and really strived to make sure we were satisfied with every aspect of our stay. We had a private breakfast with Giulia and Vanessa. We also did a fantastic wine tour/tasting with Giulia. One night was a magnificent dinner in town and the other was a sunset dinner in the main building. Both were excellent! This place is a hidden gem in a beautiful setting. Peaceful/serene and the best service. "

"We brought a group of first-time international travelers to Villa Bruschetti, and it was absolutely perfect. The villa itself is full of historic charm—spacious, comfortable, and beautifully maintained. Each room was thoughtfully appointed, and the grounds were stunning, with peaceful views in every direction.One of the best parts was the excellent location. It served as the perfect home base for our many day trips to enjoy the beauty of the Tuscan countryside—Florence, Siena, San Gimignano, Vinci, and more were all within easy reach. After each adventure, we returned to the serenity of the villa to relax, and gather over shared meals.Our hosts were warm and attentive, helping us with every detail to ensure our stay was smooth. This was a truly unforgettable experience, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommend!"
