"This hotel must have been premier in it's time but it is in pretty tough shape. Needs a lot of tender loving care. The pool is not available, the outside areas are overgrown and need weeding, the interior is very dated with old carpet. The setting is absolutely beautiful. Wish someone could make a major investment to make this place magical again."

"Our family stayed here for the Christmas holiday and it was an amazing time. The property is new, spacious, clean, modern with a cozy feel and offers privacy for outdoor fun. We have stayed many places and the Codax Retreat by far is one of the BEST places we have stayed at. We would highly recommend staying here for anyone looking for comfort and optimal fun with their family. :-) "
