"We had a fabulous 3 generation stay at The Old Stores over the Easter holidays. There was so much to do around the area that we were kept busy for the week. Lovely downstairs layout with plenty of space for everyone and a couple of perfect days to enjoy the outside space. Pub and shop close by for emergencies and no shortage of equipment in the kitchen. We’ve used Stay Cotswold before and I’m certain we will use them again."

"Beautiful historic coach house in the middle of the most beautiful part of the Cotswolds. Room was large, food at James Martins tavern was superb and the staff were fantastic, especially Jason who greeted us on arrival and the waitress Gina at breakfast who was so welcoming, friendly and nice to my 3 yr old son. Will definitely be returning. Hopefully for Christmas. "

"Great location, lovely old cottage but badly needs some help to make it appropriate for renting in the colder months. The beds and linen were excellent. Upon arrival we tried to log on to the WiFi but quickly discovered the network indicated didn't exist and the password was incorrect for the one that did, made a call and the owner/caretaker came around and logged us onto this network. Later we discovered 2 welcome books both identical in every respect apart from the WiFi network!! We just randomly picked up the wrong one, what a waste of everyone's time when the solution is a 10 second fix! The second issue was the open fire which smoked so badly the first night we had to douse it in water and open all the windows and doors, the draw is so bad I thought the chimney was blocked. I was assured it wasn't and tried again the following night, better but still had to open the windows and doors. Third night was more successful but only because of my past experience with open fires and log burners. Something badly needs to be done to improve the draw (canopy?), fit a cheap log burner, or improve the efficiency of the heating system to render the issue mute. Thirdly the quality and variety of crockery provided in the kitchen was excellent, but the rest of the cooking utensils was very poor with some basics. missing, unforgivably there was no corkscrew!!! Seriously! this is what I mean when I say there just seems a lack of care taken over the whole property."

"We had such a wonderful stay at this shepherd’s hut in the Cotswolds. Set on a working farm, it offered the perfect balance of peaceful countryside escape with a real sense of rural life going on around us. The hut itself was beautifully done—cosy, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Waking up to the sounds of the farm and the surrounding nature was a real highlight, and the setting was absolutely stunning. What really made the experience special was how tranquil and relaxing it felt. It’s the kind of place where you can properly switch off, slow down, and just enjoy the surroundings. Despite being tucked away, it still felt accessible enough for exploring the wider Cotswolds. If you’re looking for a unique getaway with character, charm, and a touch of authentic countryside living, I’d highly recommend this place. We’d happily return!"

"Can't fault this cottage. Spacious, calm setting, gorgeous walks on your doorstep, shops for essentials a few mins away, owners very responsive (they live next door, are very unobtrusive but also came round immediately when we needed help with the TV!). Beds very comfortable, hot water on demand, plugs and lamps everywhere they're needed (not always the case in holiday lets), very sharp knives for cooking (i usually bring my own), toiletries, welcome biscuits and prosecco, tea/coffee, the list goes on! They've thought of everything. Highly recommend."

"Beautiful property right in the centre of town with plenty of restaurants cafes and pubs all around. Wonderfully equipped with everything needed and everything thought of including high chairs and cots Property was nicely heated throughout our stay We had absolutely no issues here and were lucky enough to meet the very accommodating owner Liz. Cant recommend enough and would definitely return"
