"This is an absolute gorgeous private paradise. The beautiful Spanish house is equipped with all the items needed and with plenty of extras. You don't have to leave the estate if you don't want to. The landscaping was breathtaking and very beautiful. There are properties that you stay at and then there are properties that stay with you for the rest of your life. This estate is a must stay near San Diego. "

"The ambience at this place is amazing. It doesn't feel like a hotel; you feel like you've snagged a room on a rich person's hacienda. I didn't give it full stars because the signage and communication were lacking. You have to call (by phone) to get someone to come and check you in. There is no check-in desk, which adds to the ambience, but if you don't know about that in advance, you'll be like me--circling the place on foot and by car, to find someone to check you in. Once inside, it's a maze of corridors with beautiful, museum-like rooms roped off. These also add to the ambience. But trying to remember where that office was, for a person (like me) with no sense of direction, was a nightmare. When we wanted to check out, I did find the office (after going up and down several hallways several times), but the door was locked. It was about 9:00 a.m. I then went outside, looking for someone. Then, I finally realized, I could call the same number I had called to check in. Did that, and a person came immediately. Advance information would have saved me a lot of stress."

"Pool is only wading depth but we enjoyed it. I liked the waterfall into pool.We had lots of space. There is a Big table on patio to fit everyone. We had several people cooking and space for them to work. There is also a table inside. And 4 seats at kitchen counter.Outside was nice area to sit around fire pit.Everyone enjoyed whirlpool, air hocky, fooze ball. Basketball game , sauna and pool table. There is also yoga area we did not use. We had family of all ages and activities for everyone."
