Overall, we found it overpriced: during the same holiday, we stayed in 3 and 4-star hotels in the very centre of Nuremberg, Bamberg and Regensburg and they were all cheaper than this pension."

"Good location on the edge of the old town, right near the wall. Safe and convenient. Rooms were decent, clean enough, pretty basic. Staff was not friendly nor helpful, unwilling to give us basic space for our family to gather outside our rooms (3 rooms for 4 nights, thought that might warrant using an empty table in an empty room of the restaurant, but not allowed even when restaurant empty). They appeared overworked and frustrated. It was over the Christmas holiday, so that was surely part...

"My daughter and I were very grateful for our time at Pension Elke. After an extremely challenging travel day, it was dead of night yet we were welcomed kindly. Our room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We enjoyed fresh air from open windows, the toll of the tower bell, plenty of natural light, and a garden view. Flowers from the garden lined the entrance stairs full of summer scents. Our hosts offered a big beautiful breakfast spread which we enjoyed by a window looking out over the town....

"Nice big rooms. Stayed in room 121 which was bright and airy and modern compared to other rooms and had a large bath tub with shower within the tub. It also had a nice view over a pedestrian route and lovely old world charm buildings. Ala carte continental breakfast had variety with cheese, tomatoes, cured meats, yoghurt, cooked eggs, pancakes, some fruit etc. Assistance with luggage provided up the stairs when checking in. Great location within old town. Short 3 minute walk to main square...
