We loved our stay at this cute little cabin. It so close to so many hiking trails and fun spot to eat and drink. Spending time on the deck was so relaxing with beautiful sunsets. We would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the Stevenson area.
The property was just as described. It was a nice respite from the busyness of my sons wedding! It was small but perfect for two people! We enjoyed the surroundings and saw a lot of birds/deer/ cats! It was beautiful seeing the field/ mountains juxtaposition . The only suggestion might be to have at least 4 utensils for 2people ( 4 forks/ 4 knives/ 4 spoons would be nice! ) other than that all was wonderful! Thank you!
Overall good experience. The place is in a quiet area. There is a wedding venue nearby, so when I arrived on Friday I could hear loud music, but it was over before 11:00 pm. The rest of the weekend was very quiet. I loved seeing deer on my porch.
One thing I didn't like was pretty dark bathroom, so it was difficult to do make up. Also, lack of any counter space or shelves in the bathroom. As a woman on a long trip I'd like to have at least a small space where I can place my cosmetic bag.

Unique, enjoyed the grazing deer while having wine on the porch. Small, but adequate. Clock needs battery. Clean. Bed was ok but AC was loud. Appliances were good. Thing that bothered us was the dish cleaning. Didnt notice it until we were going thru the checkout cleaning list was the part about dish washing. We had depended on the previous Tennant to properly clean and sanitize the dishes. With a dishwasher no problem but with a very small kitchen sink it was hard. Probably would have washed the cups etc before we used them if we had thought about it
Host Jami is very friendly and responsive. This little cottage is a cute place with a wonderful wide front porch overlooking the valley. It's wonderfully situated near but away from downtown, quiet and full of wildlife!
Lovely setting with view of mountains, flora and fauna. visit from deer each day including 2 sweet fawns. Cute town too. Cottage is small but functional if you don’t need to cook.
Perfect little cabin just a few minutes out of town. Quiet location and nicely finished. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the AC since it was during a heat wave.
Tranquil and cozy cottages in picturesque Columbia River Gorge
Kevin and Jami are outstanding hosts. There were clear instructions prior to arrival and it was easy to find. It is a great property with a fantastic view. Also, aesthetically pleasing and well designed inside. We had the privilege of staying in two cottages (2 and 3/Red Bluff) due to the snow storm on our last night. We were snowed in with an unprecedented 3' of snow overnight! We didn't care, we were very comfortable and Kevin was extremely helpful and understanding. Not a bad place to be snowed in. Examples of Kevin's hospitality included plowing snow to get our car out and offering wine/beer and food to get us through the snow storm if needed.
If you will be out and about most of the time like we were prior to the storm, Cottage 2 will be cozy enough. If you want to stick around and cook, book Red Bluff. The king bed was so comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked with a gas oven. Only items missing were a bluetooth speaker, so if you want to listen to music (not through the tv) bring your own and a fireplace (accidentally listed with a fireplace in the amenities originally, but otherwise description was accurate).
We highly recommend Maple Way Cottages. There is much to do, see, and taste nearby. Hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did. Cheers!

Property was exactly as described on site. We appreciated that the air conditioner was on before our arrival. Room was very clean, very quiet, and no contact in and out was perfect during COVID. We regret not using Vrbo rentals for the rest of our trip!
I had a wonderful stay in the Maple Leaf cabin, I was visiting for only two nights after a work trip to Portland. The space was perfect for me, and I did not need a full kitchen as I planned to eat at local restaurants. Bed was comfortable, you cannot beat the location, or the view from the porch! I had everything I needed to relax after running up Larch Mountain (past Multnomah Falls on the OR side,) hiking Dog Mountain, and spending a full afternoon on the Pacific Crest Trail. Looking forward to my next trip already!
Very clean property. Pictures accurately depict the setting and space. The only suggestion would be to have more than two kitchen forks available and also to provide a kitchen knife so that the meal prep we did was a bit easier. Otherwise, everything was very nice.
My husband and I stayed at this cottage as home base for snow shoeing as Old Mans Pass.
It was PERFECT.
Located only 5 minutes from the Main Street of Stevenson but felt like we were at our own little hideaway. The view was stunning and the cottage adorable.
The cottage has a ROKU tv so you can watch any of your personal streaming accounts (make sure to log out!).
It was perfect for the weekend!
This little gem of properties in the beautiful Columbia gorge includes a little cottage we stayed in. Albeit small, it had all that was needed for a couple even all the kitchen necessities. The host lives next door and responded right away to our needs. We did see a baby deer eating grass by our door.
We had a wonderful time going between Stevenson, Hood River and Carson on our trip. Lots of great food places and views.
The owners were friendly and quick to respond. the cottage itself was cute and clean.
