A great hotel all around. Location, staff, comfort all first class. Also ate dinner at the restaurant which was also superb. Made the reservation without much knowledge and was very happy we did. Highly recommend!

My son and enjoyed our stay. The property, staff and location were all excellent. Stockholm is wonderful and the hotel is located near the Old Town and other areas of interest. The immediate area is quaint with high quality shopping and dining. Staff was incredible especially Malin the reservation manager/concierge as well as the restauarant staff

Great location, excellent service.

Our standard room was tiny, I do wish we had a bit more space. However, the room was well designed, the breakfast excellent, the location perfect and, most importantly, the staff most accommodating and friendly. We loved the sauna too.

I was promised an upgrade, and had a confirmation sent by mail. When we arrived, the reception staff were not particularly friendly – they came across as snobbish and seemed completely uninterested in us as guests. When we arrived in our room there was a not on the bed welcoming a mother guest (not my namn)

Villa Dagmar is an amazing hotel and has everything a visitor to Stockholm needs - excellent staff, incredible food, very comfortable rooms, centrally located and very very walkable. The hotel directly connects to a lovely market which was, a delight to have a drink and meal at. It was nice to have another option aside from their restaurant. The hotel itself is very nice and the rooms were quiet. It is located close to quite a number of things. Stockholm is a very walkable city. The neighbourhood was very safe. We did find it a challenge that our drivers could not drive up to the main entrance and therefore had to connect with them a block away with our luggage. We're not sure if this was a temporary situation or permanent.

Overall a good experience, but considering its reputation I was somewhat surprised to see coffee stains on the carpet, the lightbulb left on the bathroom sink and not removed even after 1 day of housekeeping, no price list for the mini bar, and the ability to hear noise from outside from 5am. Food is good, and service is friendly but not necessarily efficient. The cocktail came way after the food, or waiting 40 min for a club sandwich seemed less than ideal.

Lovely, but hot

The Villa Dagmar was a lovely stay in a great area of Stockholm. Superb condition throughout, with a lot of attention to detail. We did have a bit of an issue with the temperature in our room, despite running the AC on max cold, it was a consistent + 23’C, and as a result we slept pretty poorly. The staff did give us a fan, but that didn’t help much unfortunately. The room faces the courtyard, hence we were unable to open them for extra air.
