"I was In the old part of the hotel and did not care for it nearly as much as the newer part. It seemed darker and no bathrobes or bathroom incidentals (cotton balls, qtips, etc.). Staff was still great and I love The Read House just not the older wing of rooms."

"Everything was as it should be. We asked if we could check in early because we were coming from out of town and the host was very accommodating we were able to check in several hours earlier. It made it easy on us since we were traveling with our small dog. Great location close to everything we wanted to do."

"Decor was very inviting upon our arrival. Beds were super comfortable. Bathroom was a bit small but worked out great for the 3 of us! We did not cook while we were there but the kitchen area and island would have been great for two couples. We didn’t get a chance to use the hot tub but it was a nice amenity, as it was chilly the night we were there! Great place! "

"Overall we had a nice stay. The staff member who checked us in appeared to be new and needed to get approval to allow us to check in about 30 minutes early, and they weren’t able to answer some basic parking questions. That said, everyone we encountered at the morning breakfast was terrific—very friendly and attentive, which made for a great start to the day. The room was fairly clean and comfortable. A few spots, like behind the TV and some less visible areas, could use a little extra attention, but nothing that significantly impacted our stay. Overall, a pleasant experience."
