"We started at wonderful Hotel Baeren for two nights, and loved every second! We arrived a little late, and our key was left for us, super convenient to check in. Ample free parking right next to the hotel, close to everything and VERY quiet. The staff was so kind and welcoming. They had a coffee/tea station for us 24/7, with fruit, water and granola bars as well. The breakfast was also incredible. We would highly recommend this hotel. "Came to Switzerland for a solo trip and stayed just for one night. I really enjoyed the quiet location of this hotel, just a little outside of Zurich.

"Breakfast buffet is solid, especially once you figure out you can ask for scrambled eggs. It is very convenient to several different public transportation options and a quick walk to a major mall with a huge grocery store. A quiet neighborhood but easy to get to the downtown area for food and sightseeing. "

"It’s a little outside of Lucerne, so be prepared to have a car specifically for this location. Transportation isn’t nearby or walkable and the Ubers are expensive! Other than that, it was awesome to have free breakfast and a bunch of dining options so close by on the shared property. The room and bathroom were large and clean! "
