I didn't stay in much, mostly sleeping at night and spending the rest of my time in Key West. That said, this place is a great way to mix in quiet stays away while being well situated to head into Key West (approximately 15 minutes away sans traffic). I'd stay here again without hesitation and you should really consider booking here!

A classic property in the old style of the lower keys from the 70s. Even though rooms are a bit dated, they are very clean with a great floating dock to moor your boat. Nice marina right next door with a good ramp. If your game is to fish the back country this is your place.

We had a great stay at the Sugar Loaf. Room was clean, comfortable and had a beautiful view from our balcony. Yes, rooms are dated but we liked the nostalgia. We will stay here again the next time we visit the Keys.

Very clean and friendly environment. Clerk asked if he could carry our bags upstairs for us as there is no elevator. No coffee in available in the rooms but a fantastic coffee bar in the tiki tabernacle with great a view open till 11:00. Quiet, peaceful and would do again.
