Donner Lake is close to Lake Tahoe, but with better views (in my opinion), and near the amazing town of Truckee for sightseeing and all basic needs. Every element of the decor in this little condo is fascinating. The owner, Tor, was always helpful and responsive via text and phone. The more days we stayed, the more delights we discovered. "

"This is the best place we’ve stayed in Donner area so far! First, the property owner/manager, Jim is very nice and responsive. We had to reschedule our trip TIWCE due to the winter storm, and he accommodated new dates without any hesitation. Second, the property itself is exceptional; especially the breathtaking lake view, it’s just right in front of you. Lastly, it’s so convenient to access to ski resorts, like donner downhill, boreal, and soda springs is about 15 minutes drive. We stayed a few nights here and loved every minute. We’ll definitely come back again. "
