"On this trip to Vietnam, we have stayed 10 different hotels and most were very good to excelent, but Vanda was the best. No better view of the Dragon bridge. Very clean and nicely decorated rooms. Convinient places to eat right next to it. But what makes Vanda the best has names : Trung, Vy, Tuan, and Huyen. My apologies for anyone i might have forgotten their name. Best staff of all hotels. We got there early 5 hours so our check in was not ready. They kept our luggage safe. They got our luggage from the taxi. We decided to go shopping. They even told us it might rain and gave us an umbrella. Boy were they right it look like a lovely sunny day and all of the sudden it started pouring, that umbrella safed our shopping spree. When we returned they had our room ready 2 hours ahead of checking time. Best staff of all hotels we stayed in. Again Trung, Vy, Tuan and Huyen."

"Recommendable 1st stay in Da Nang for people new to Vietnam! We arrived late in the evening to the hotel, but the staff contacted us a day prior so we were prepared. Reception is open from 10am-5pm, so we had to work with another staff onsite to get access and this was easy to do. The accommodation is located above a shop, so when it is open, you can go through the main door and take the elevator up to your room. We booked a Deluxe Studio which was spacious. For Da Nang standards (as it is a developing city and there are a lot of new construction and old buildings), the hotel was clean and functional. Bathroom was clean (toilet, shower, sink, and laundry machine were spotless). They provide small toiletries (shampoo, soap, body wash, dish detergent, no laundry detergent) and plenty of soft towels (2 hand, 2 tea-towel, 2 body). A/C was fast to cool the room and goes as low as 19C, which is so helpful for the intense humidity. Bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well. NO bugs in sight!! Wifi is good. They provide bottled water to drink/use. *Hotel is a bit dated compared to photos. *The shower leaked but there's an external drain so the water flows there. Also, for some reason the bathroom occasionally smells like poop but might be drain issues. *If your room facing the main road, it can be a little noisy due to the traffic and bars. But the room is relatively soundproof, so even our light-sleeper could fall asleep. Fortunately, other guests were also quiet!"
