"The hotel is a good value for the area. Small rooms reminded me of a European economic hotel. Staff were friendly and nice. However “city view” rooms are a bit misleading. The only view I had was a small window behind the headboard of the bed. So unless your kneeling on your pillows you don’t really have a city view"

"The staff were very helpful. The place was functional. Breakfast area was a little messy but what can you expect when so many guests took advantage of it? Our particular room was kind of dirty when we checked in. The bed was made but there was trash and crumbs about. However, the shower was great and stayed hot the whole time. The bed was uncomfortable and made sleep difficult."

"This a budget hotel. It is clean and safe. It is not a spa, nor a resort. It offers a private room in which to sleep, and store your stuff while you explore NYC. It offers free bagels for breakfast, otherwise no unnecessary costly amenities. If you are afraid of Brooklyn, stay away and pay three times more!"
