The owners are extremely nice and if you are looking for a tranquil getaway in the middle of nature, this will be great for you. The grounds and surrounding area are really beautiful. However, if you are just looking for something quaint near Girona, as we were, it was not what we expected. This is basically "glamping". I think everyone would be happier if the property description was clearer about how rustic it really is. It is sort of "at the end of the earth" and we had a lot of difficulty finding it. Breakfast is included but for other meals, the nearest restaurants are about 4-5 miles away. Some of the rooms are in a separate building that does not have WiFi, so if internet is important to you, check before booking. The rooms in the main building open directly to the common areas, so there's a fair amount of noise until everyone goes to sleep and in the morning when breakfast is being served. I don't think the property has a clothes dryer, because the towels we were given were crunchy. I'm sure they were clean, but I couldn't bring myself to use them, plus the bottom of the shower curtain was dirty, so that was off-putting.
