I had traveled all day and I was tired. I have a knee injury and was hoping for a room on the first floor. I arrived late but then the staff came and he was just wonderful. He told me he gave me a room on the first floor and lo and behold, he gave me a handicapped room which worked really well for me. Thankful for the great service.

We booked a seven-night stay at Ibis Budget St Peters but checked out after just one night due to unacceptable conditions. While the room initially looked clean, the bathroom emitted a foul odour that filled the space. Immediately upon entering, both my wife and I suffered from allergy-like symptoms—stuffy noses, itchy skin, and irritated eyes—raising major concerns about air quality and hygiene. The maintenance was subpar. The fridge was excessively noisy, forcing us to unplug it, and turning on the tap produced a loud, high-pitched screaming sound. To top it off, breakfast was non-existent. When I brought our concerns to reception, the staff member was openly rude and pulled unprofessional faces while I was speaking to her. Our after-hours check-in after 10 PM was equally frustrating. The provided code failed to open the key card safe, forcing us to call support for a manual unlock. This setup also felt like a security risk, as anyone with access could potentially reach other guests' key cards. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable, and management eventually worked with Expedia to resolve our stay, which we appreciated. However, for the price paid, the basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, service, and security fell drastically short. Leaving six nights early says it all. I strongly advise against staying at this property and will not return.
