The couch was stained and there was horrible dust on the shelf behind the bed. The knooks and crannies were dirty and the whole room was run down. I would have given a lower score but the staff was great and the location was nice and it was helpful to have a washer and dryer

This was the best decision for us, and literally saved us $2,000 on accomodation. We had a pool when it was hot, a roof and sun loungers, a gym, then in-room basic cooking and washing facilities, and aircon in both the sitting and bedroom areas. We were nice and cool for the heat wave. Our hosts were attentive and fast to respond to things (eg asked for more towels, more bowls). They also took advice on a couple of improvements. I was worried about noise, but with soft ear plugs I slept fine. It's a big city so is a bit noisy, but I couldn't hear the trains which was my main concern. It was a quick walk to everything: supermarket, coffee shop, tram, bus etc. If you want to have your basic needs met and save money, this is a great option. We stayed with our 21 year old daughter and she could go out as she wanted to see the nightlife, she was happy with our accomodations. If you don't mind a place where you get a service once a week (the housekeeping is not the same people as those who run the hotel), and your decor is a bit tired but completely clean and functional and it saves you a decent chunk of money? Highly recommend. I would stay again.

We visited Nesuto Chippendale 10 years ago. The reason we returned again was because of the location, close to the city centre. We also found the staff friendly, courteous and professional. We will return again on our next holiday.

Great inner city hotel

One night stay after arriving back to Australia before our final drive home. Nicely surprised by the size and comfort of the room. There was all the facilities needed for a longer stay, a well equipped kitchen and even a washing machine,dryer and laundry tub. The bed was super comfortable and we had a great nights rest. Would definitely recommend this hotel and we would use again.

Hotel is very close to everything we needed-shops, dining, transport. Very comfortable room, with plenty of space. The full kitchen and laundry is great for a longer stay. The upstairs outdoor/ pool area looked nice. Parking was very easy, with the secure attached parking garage. The pub around the corner was a good place to eat, but there are also a lot of other choices within a short walk. We will stay again.

Location is a nice balance between accessing the city core but not being in the middle of the busyness and activity. Some of the kitchenware is worn out and a bit of age is showing. However we wouldn't hesitate to return and enjoy what the property offers.

Nesuto was clean and convenient with a comfortable bed. Felt like accommodation for international students so we were probably not the usual demographic. It was unfortunate that we were not informed in advance that reception closed at 4pm on weekends. We arrived at 5.15pm. Painful getting in.

Room was a great size. Had washer & dryer, free secure parking. Balcony with seating, kitchen, big tv, air con, block out curtains. Staff were great. Hotel is on the corner of a busy road so expect noise, not dead quiet. Only ripe was there were no sheer curtains, only block outs, so buildings across the street can see directly into your room.

We stayed for 6 nights and it was fine, the area was great and being so close to the central station was fab, there are some nice restaurants and also a shopping centre with supermarket etc close by. The accommodation itself was okay, we were in a studio and it could definitely do with some modernisation, it felt quite dark and basic. The bed was two singles pushed together, and the furniture was old and worn. The bathroom was quite tired, shower wasn't overly powerful and we had bugs that kept coming up the drain in the floor. The kitchen was adequate but lacked some basics - no drainer to try dishes, no drying towel, no sheets for the oven to put food on, everything just felt a bit old and dated and it lacked a few essentials. Most of the bath towels we were given were also old and stained. We felt it was expensive for what we got, although I think we may have paid inflated prices as our trip coincided with school holidays and a bank holiday. In summary, it's fine for a quick trip or just somewhere to sleep.

We stayed here for 10 nights. The location was great for our needs, a short walk to the train/bus stops. The room was adequate but there was a shortage of things in the kitchen. There was no coffee maker, little cutlery and only 2 mugs. The location made up for the shortcomings. Next time I would ask for a quieter room at the far end of the building, not so close to Cleveland St.

I've stayed here a couple times now, great location and easy to walk into city. Rooms are outdated, but comfortable. Only issue I have is payment by credit card, took 12 days to debit from account usually done within 7. I'm left short this pay now due to it sitting there pending so long.

As always Nesuto was accommodating and comfortable. The property is perfect. The only problem is that the air conditioner periodically made a tapping sound on the walls that confused me and on the 3rd night the hot water had run out. It was fixed quickly though :). Lovely team at reception. Will always come back to this hotel

Reasonably convenient to Redfern Station. The unit floors were not very clean. The linens and kitchen were clean. The furniture and rugs were starting to look shabby. The a/c froze during the night and woke us with a great grinding noise and spit out ice. There was no coffee pot but the kind staff found one for our use.
