"Rooms were overall fine. But as a local resort the hotel rooms were years over due for a renovation and upgrade. For example the Sinks were cracked and stained. But the service and employees were amazing and helpful."

The area is really close to hiking, but a long drive to Skyline Drive. Not much food shopping.

We visited Blue Quartz winery, but they also had beer and cider! The facility was beautiful, staff very friendly, beautiful outdoor area, and wine and cider were good (i don't drink beer but my friend enjoyed it). Thet had Old Rag BBQ food truck y
