Had a wonderful stay here. Incredibly personal touch from all the staff referring to me by my name, which made me feel very comfortable. An incredible property rich in history, with a modern, well-equipped room to compliment it. Food options were extensive and delicious. Breakfast was great, very high quality, and very attentive staff. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I absolutely loved this place. The setting in the countryside, the amazing building, the spacious, light room, the wonderful service - my only complaint is that I only had one night! Totally recommended. It was great!

Lovely venue for a family trip. Staff were amazing, food and drinks were excellent. Loved the venue and setting, room was cosy and good, don’t expect flashy from a standard room. All in all, looking forward to staying again.

6/10 Okay

The staff were genuinely kind and very helpful, which we truly appreciated. There is, however, some room for improvement in the amenities, particularly given that the property is marketed as a luxury castle experience. Our room still had clothing from a previous guest, which affected the overall sense of cleanliness. While the stay was not unpleasant, based on our previous experiences in luxury castle hotels, this felt closer to a standard hotel experience rather than a true luxury offering.

Lovely Castle Stay.

Super service from Amanda on reception. Lovely room and great food. Convenient location, but a bit tricky to know exactly where to go in the dark! Great jumping off point for Leeds and York.
