Likes: 7-11 in building, two more convenience stores within a block. Also small alley in back of building has many small shops for food. Yet its a huge hotel, all the cabbies know it. And price is very cheap, at least in March and compare to the US!

If you are going to Taipei Dome or Arena I definitely recommend this hotel! A grand and magnificent building, even though it's a little aged but still gives you a lot comfy. I arrived very early after a long-haul intercontinental flight on a morning and they generously provided me a room to for early check-in and I had a very enjoyable and slow-paced morning. Thank you very much ILLUME Taipei! If I am going to Taipei next time, I will choose you again!

My family and I spent a week at the Illume Taipei Hotel in March 2026, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel itself is beautiful, and the housekeeping team is exceptional—the rooms were kept spotless with fresh towels provided daily. We were also very impressed by the front desk staff, who were consistently friendly and helpful. Beyond the hotel, we found the people in Taiwan to be incredibly kind and genuine. We had a great time exploring the local food scene, especially the night markets! We’ll definitely be back soon. Stephanie

The room was clean with comfortable beds and the staff were exceptional. We liked the multiple filtered water dispensers available on every floor along with the awesome gym.The location was conveniently close to a MRT transfer station and having a convenient store in the lobby was great.The breakfast buffet was delicious for a reasonable fee in a very relaxing atmosphere. They also serve lunch and dinner as well.
