"The whole experience was exceptional. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful. A relaxed vibe to the hotel which perfectly matched the area. Clean, well maintained and comfortable throughout. Breakfast was fresh and made to order. It was delicious! We saw so much wildlife around the grounds of the hotel, monkeys, birds, reptiles. The beach is a short walk away and felt a safe place to visit and was clean. I would definitely stay again. "

"The location was perfect — with easy access to Curú Park, Santa Teresa, and Montezuma. Cóbano was just a few minutes away, offering great supermarkets and an ATM, which made things very convenient. The resort itself was beautiful, well‑kept, and thoughtfully landscaped. The pool was magnificent; we swam multiple times a day, including refreshing evening swims. Staff members Emy and Andrea were wonderful — welcoming, attentive, and accommodating throughout our stay. Food at the hotel was delicious, and breakfast was included, which was a great touch. We also loved discovering a few local sodas within walking distance — each one was amazing and added to the authentic experience. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Tambor Tropical offers a blend of comfort, hospitality, and easy access to nearby adventures that makes it a standout choice in the area."

"Beautiful villas with the most beautiful view. The pool is magical, the patio areas the perfect place to look out on the ocean. The villas themselves are large and comfortable. Kitchens had everything we needed to make a meal. Highly recommend. "

"Rhonda, the host, has tastefully created a very beautiful home in a Costa Rican village. Her pool is exactly the same size and depth that is used for me by my physical therapist. One cannot swim in it, but it is perfect for my six foot body for exercises and walks. If you have any problems or questions, Rhonda and her employee are electronically present to address them as much as they can."
