"Words or photos will not so any justice to this location A true diamond of a location for those who need absolute peace and beauty Ruth is a lovely host and nothing was a problem at all and place was ready for our arrival Totally secluded with easy accesss to local villages which had decent shops and a lovely atmosphere Took another reviews advice and just booked it and only issue was having to leave and Caine back home"

"The accommodation itself was lovely with a beautiful bathroom, the building itself needed a bit of care in places but because this is a community owned building the money is needed for other things like the rooms which have been done. I do not think this is a hotel but more a bed and breakfast as you have to pay for an evening meal in the bar/restaurant downstairs every night along with any drinks, you are unable to charge them to your room. It also only opens between 16.00 and 22.00 and for a breakfast in the mornings (guests only for breakfast) anything else between those times are a no. All that being said the village and surroundings are beautiful, and would go back there if I went that way again."

"This hotel/guest house is mainly a wedding venue but can be booked for individual stays. I was on a business trip and just needed a bed before an early start. Breakfast is provided in a little hamper and had plenty of good quality fruit, bread, danish etc which suited me better than a cooked breakfast at eg 7am because I was up and out by 6am. There was no human to check in but codes were provided for the main door and a key box for the room. Everything was clean and tasteful and it worked surprisingly well. Nice quiet, rural location."

"It was a very relaxing, peaceful and calming stay. The host was great. It was very pet friendly and the boys loved exploring the garden. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. The log fire was great, firelighters and logs were provided. If you love being out in the countryside then this is the place for you. "
