2/10 Terrible

"Terrible start to our holidays. Booked an apartment here through Expedia/Vrbo… nothing like the pictures, the AC only in the living room while the rest of the apartment and the bedrooms were boiling hot. Complained to the host who spoke little English and extremely hard to get hold of, and said that the listing says AC only in the living room (that’s wrong, the listing described the apartment as ‘air conditioned’)… also no key box at the door, everything was very old/dated and in poor state of hygiene to name a few issues with this place. we had to walk out in the end and now going through Expedia and trading standards in the UK for mid-selling to get a refund. Not what you want on a holiday. For the money they charge you rather stay in one of nice hotels across the road!"

"Travelled with my partner for a five-night stay. Overall, it was a decent stay. The location is excellent and within walking distance of most places. However, front-facing rooms can be noisy due to constant car horns, so it may be worth requesting a room on the opposite side. The room was a good size, housekeeping kept it clean, and the bed was comfortable. However, the air conditioning was poor and never got particularly cold, even on the lowest setting. The hotel feels a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment. Some fittings were loose, paint was peeling in places, the shower head was dirty, and the bathtub was in need of a deep clean. Unfortunately, the women's steam room was out of order throughout our stay, leaving only the sauna available. Both facilities are very small, fitting only two people comfortably, and must be booked around 45 minutes in advance. Our most disappointing experience was on the final night. Reception advised my partner to join me in the men's steam room as the women's was still unavailable. We called ahead to ensure it was ready, but another guest entered and became angry, claiming he had been there first. Although I explained I rang Reception, he continued shouting, so we chose to leave rather than risk an argument and spoiling our holiday. Breakfast was average and could benefit from more hot options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Overall, a decent hotel, but I would probably stay elsewhere next time."

"I'll start with the positive things. The apartment (and it is an apartment, not a hotel) is quite large and can easily accommodates at least 4 more people. I was traveling alone so it really felt quite spacious. The wifi was pretty fast and the shower was exceptionally hot which I was not expecting. Also, the property is really close to the main train station, for me its an easy walk. Also, the staff was hella chill. That said, the negatives are everything else. This was not a clean space and there were moths everywhere. There was constant standing water under the sink and the main toilet did not work. Furthermore, everything was falling apart -- the door handle fell off the bathroom door when I opened it and the front door did not work half the time. (They did fix this) Me and the taxi driver could not find the entrance because the property is not clearly demarcated. This is not related to the hotel itself but if you choose to walk to the train station you have to navigate construction debris. Overall, I dont recommend until there's major renovations."
